Earlier this year I was offered a corporate job. It paid more than I'd ever made in my life. On my first day of training I realized my vision loss meant I couldn’t do the job.
I wrote about going blind, access needs, and quitting for @torontolife.

Attending today’s rainbow crosswalk and bench unveiling in the @City_of_Vaughan with my sister and my mom, who sometimes still struggles to come to terms with my sexuality, is a testament to just how far we’ve come on our journey together. And that makes my heart happy. 💗🌈

As a member of the the @City_of_Vaughan's Diversity and Inclusion Task Force, I feel a sense of pride knowing that our work resulted in the installation of the City's first rainbow crosswalk. 🌈
