Those who grew up poor and happy are life’s winners.
They have already learned one of life’s great lessons -
money has no real connection with happiness.
If you’re rich and unhappy you’ve missed the point.
RESIGN OR REWIRE?
Outside solutions rarely solve inside problems.
Could an attitudinal tweak work wonders?
Don’t quit too soon.
I stare at my phone - really hard - and it still doesn’t ring.
I don’t like making calls but I know I have to, so I keep this note in sight.

Are you a prisoner of your past?
Leonard Cohen said…
“Those who are married to the spirit of their generation are doomed to become widows in the next.”
Do you find yourself comforted by the certainty of the past
or
excited by the uncertainty of the future?

Push on. It’s rarely as scary as you imagined.

"Tell a person to change and they’ll resent you for a day. Teach a person to change and they’ll pay you back in resilience for a lifetime." - Julian Mather
‘If you want to get the attention of a noisy room, talk in a whisper.’
Great advice I got when I was a children’s entertainer.
When everyone is trying to out-yell everyone else it doesn’t work anymore.

This is a good smartphone video habit.
Anytime you are videoing a shot…
Reframe a second shot that allows for a large area of plain colour.
