I bumped into pro-Pals in Brighton today who had leaflets saying Zionism is racism. I simply asked if Arab-Israelis were racists and this lady didn’t know who they were. Another started calling me a “Nazi” and aggressively shoved his leaflet in my face. Ignorant and violent.

Rotem Gafinovitz reveals in a new interview that her British cycling team kicked her out due to her being Israeli.
Gafinovitz made headlines on October 14th, 2023, as she raced with tears running down her cheeks and her Star of David proudly displayed. She had wanted to skip the race and return to Israel, but was convinced to stay and cycle for all those who died on October 7th. It is also the race that helped qualify her for the Paris Olympics.
Despite being an Olympian-level cyclist, her British team didn't want her anymore, specifically because she has an Israeli passport.
I'm sure Free Palestine supporters will read this post and pat themselves on the back like they did anything. But all they are doing is harassing a woman who has done more for Palestinians than they ever have. Gafinovitz returned to Israel recently to vote, and she also participated in a charity cycling event for a hospital that regularly admits Palestinian children from Gaza and the West Bank.
That is support. Trying to ruin someone's life because of where they were born isn't.

On this day—November 7, 1993
Just weeks after the Oslo Accords were signed, Palestinian terrorists fired on a rabbi’s car, killing the 30-year-old driver, Efraim Ayubi. Rabbi Haim Druckman was injured. Efraim was survived by his pregnant wife and four children, all under 5.
After dropping off his children at kindergarten, he picked up the the rabbi. Efraim’s wife was hanging laundry and listening to the news when she heard Rabbi Druckman’s car had been attacked and the driver, her husband, had been murdered.
Hamas proudly claimed responsibility for the murder, and this was just one attack in wave of terrorism that began almost immediately after the September 1993 handshake on the White House lawn. Israeli civilians continued to be targeted just after Palestinian leadership committed to ending violence.

If this silly woman was a trained journalist she would understand that being one of more than 50 witnesses in a huge privacy case is not being ‘on trial for phone-hacking’.
And if she was a trained journalist she would know that the privacy case lost on every count, and that the judge singled me out for being a ‘careful and impressive witness’.
And if she was a trained journalist she would know that talking to people’s families when they do something controversial is actually real journalism, not the activist shite she pumps out.
And perhaps if she was a trained journalist she wouldn’t be living at home with her mummy and daddy at the age of 35.

In November 636, Arab armies began the siege of Jerusalem and their colonization of the Land of Israel.
The Kingdom of Israel had already existed for more than 1,600 years. Neo-Assyrians, Babylonians, Persians, Greeks, Romans, and Byzantines had all ruled the region. Jews and Samaritans were still the indigenous majority.

By the 9th century, Islam was the majority religion and Arabic the dominant language. The Dome of the Rock and Al-Aqsa were built directly atop the ruins of the Jewish Temples.
