I really feel sorry for people who are unable to enjoy media unless there are action set pieces and flashy bits every 20 minutes.. we just had an episode the expanded and deepened the characters of both Hal and John and we got dummies saying nothing happened.
Lanterns wasn't even an episode tonight. Nothing happened. Setup that for no reason John doesn't need a Lantern ring and that he's the only one who is like that despite having never had any training , so he's a black Rey with a dick.
And apparently Hal secretly loves John according to boss babe sheriff, off screen he doesn't have complete contempt for him unlike everything the show has shown us

Do people not recall at the end of each segment they would state that these dudes were always back out on the streets not long after, and not think to themselves “well that doesn’t seem that long”
Part of that reason is how these stings are set up. Kind of the point of this film
I think the point of it was to smear a guy who put multiple high profile pedophiles in jail.
I’m not usually one to defend a celebrity, but the context of this movie is just so weird.
They didn’t even ask Chris Hansen for an interview before writing the script, and the film manipulated the real timeline of his life to make him look worse.
