🚨 Paris is on fire as rioters take over across France:
Over 500,000 people have taken to the streets across France. Protesters and rioters have set fire to historic buildings, destroyed famous statues, and looted thousands of stores.
Police have been seen driving away after being attacked and overwhelmed by the number of rioters as clashes broke out across every major city in France.
Let this be a warning sign for the rest of the West: Hundreds of years of work and preservation gone in one day.
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
33 minutes after posting, OP posted a reply stating that the footage is over a year old. Given that riots have taken place in France far more recently (in the past 24 hours) this may mislead people into thinking what they clicked on is current, when OP himself admits it's not. x.com/nickshirleyy/s…

Afroman disagrees with Riot Fest's decision to cancel his set due to severe weather: "I did a show in Hurricane Katrina one time back in my day! But you know, these young people... they're finicky and scary. A couple of lightning and thunder: 'No, I'm sorry, everything's canceled!'
"I ain't mad at them. They did what they felt they had to do. They let me keep all the money, so everything's all right."
