Alma Patricia Contreras Villafana is a 54-year-old Mexican national. An immigration judge ordered her out of this country in 2003. She never left.
Friday, Homeland Security arrested her at Howmet Aerospace in Torrance, California, where she worked as a machinist. Prosecutors say she lied on her I-9 in 1996 and claimed she was a U.S. citizen to get the job. This January she did it again and used someone else’s naturalization certificate number to keep it. They say she took home at least $1.4 million over about three decades.
Howmet builds jet-engine and titanium parts for the U.S. military, including work tied to the F-35. When agents showed up, she hid in a conference room for more than two hours while company officials kept them outside. Then they walked her out in cuffs. Eight federal counts. Court Monday in Los Angeles.

WOW 🚨 School districts all over America are paying for surveillance on students
“School districts are turning to increasingly invasive tactics to police where families live, from license plate reader cameras to private investigators conducting surveillance”
School districts are using taxpayer money to pay as much as $9,000+ per student to put the student and their families under surveillance
They are doing this because it can cost around $20,000 per student to educate, and if a student is going to not live in the district then they may not get paid for that student
So school districts are turning to private surveillance companies to track kids and parents locations
If families are found to not be in the right district, they are kicked out of school and even sent a bill for the time they were there
The private consulting companies are claiming they can save these school districts hundreds of thousands of dollars by putting kids under surveillance
This is insane
I tried to get a full list of states that do this and I was able to come up with at least 8. So if your are in one of these states you’re at risk

Georgia
Ohio
Alabama
Missouri
Some of these states have programs so extensive that nearly a quarter of all school districts use tactics like this

It has been one week since Sam Walmer called my husband, named us, and threatened that we would be “spread on the pavement before the day is over.”
One week—and not so much as a stern talking-to from law enforcement. No deputy at our home. No patrol car driving by.
I don’t care who your mother is, who appointed her, or what your politics are. You don’t get to call someone’s husband, identify our family, and threaten our lives without law enforcement taking it seriously.
My family deserves protection. We deserve answers. After a full week of inaction: What exactly has to happen before someone takes this seriously?
This young man thought it would be cute to find my husband’s cell number and call him to make “anonymous” threats yesterday.
He said things like: your wife is a wh*re, your wife is a sl*t, your wife is a stupid b*tch. He named our names & address and said we would be “spread on the pavement before the day is over.”
Then my local jurisdiction @LarimerSheriff, per usual, brushed it off and claimed it was his “right” to make death threat calls.
(This is all while I had just gotten home to recover from a devastating loss and emergency surgery.)
Sam thinks he’s a big anonymous tough guy … But messing with my husband, especially while I’m in the depths of grief & recovery, was the wrong move, Sam.
I get hate & threats all day, every day … But I would strongly caution everyone else who wants to follow Sam’s lead against messing with my husband and family. **BIG mistake.**

That’s not a rebuttal. That’s a cleanup after they got caught on tape.
Public school. Taxpayer campus.
If a Christian club posted that rule, the room would already be gone.
Equal access. Or shut it down.

Dearborn’s mayor comes from a Shia Muslim family from the Hezbollah stronghold of Bint Jbeil, southern Lebanon.
He himself defended the idea of naming a street after a known Hezbollah supporter.
It’s just astonishing that people like this can hold positions of power in America.
Dearborn's Democratic mayor is now facing a federal lawsuit after the city spent thousands of taxpayer dollars on public Ramadan displays — banners, crescent moons on streetlights, even police department Ramadan-themed t-shirts — while stonewalling a Christian resident who asked for equal recognition of Easter and Passover.
The suit, filed by journalist Margot Cleveland with the American Freedom Law Center, alleges the city violated her First and Fourteenth Amendment rights, including protections involving religious establishment, free speech, and equal protection. FOIA records show the city spent at least $6,500 on Ramadan displays. Not only did officials ignore Cleveland's requests, they expanded the displays the following year.
Mayor Abdullah Hammoud is also accused of telling a Christian pastor at a City Council meeting: "You are not welcome here" — and that he'd "launch a parade" the day the pastor moved out of the city.
