Šta znamo nedelju dana pred izbore?
Znamo kako je sve počelo. Jedna strašna ljudska tragedija postala je polazna tačka političke borbe koja je, pod plaštom traženja pravde, prerasla u pokušaj nasilnog preuzimanja vlasti. Skoro dve godine menjali su se zahtevi, parole, povodi i opravdanja. Samo se nisu menjali laž, nasilje, ucene i bolesna netrpeljivost prema svakome ko je odbio da misli kako mu je naređeno. U ime demokratije gazilo se pravo drugih ljudi da normalno žive, rade, uče i slobodno misle. Ko nije pristajao na njihove metode, postajao je neprijatelj. Nije bilo dovoljno da se sa njima ne slažete. Morali ste da ćutite, sklonite se i trpite.
Danas je jasno i zašto. Iza priče o studentima, uz obilatu podršku spolja, stoje političke ambicije ljudi koji više od decenije ne uspevaju da dobiju poverenje građana Srbije. Ovoga puta poverovali su da će pod studentskim imenom uspeti da im prodaju ono što nisu mogli pod svojim. A ovde se nikada nije radilo samo o foteljama. U pitanju su Kosovo i Metohija, odnos prema Rusiji i Evropskoj uniji i pravac kojim će Srbija ići. Mnogo toga nam nisu rekli. Još više su rekli svojim postupcima. Toliko su bili uvereni u sopstvenu nadmoć da nisu ni pomislili da građani ove zemlje umeju da prepoznaju ono što im se prećutkuje. Ponovo su potcenili sopstveni narod.
Meni je nedelju dana pred izbore politička slika potpuno jasna. Ali izborima se ova priča ne sme završiti. Ko god sutra bude upravljao državom, moraće ozbiljno da se pozabavi zakonima, odgovornošću i zaštitom društva od nasilja i političke zloupotrebe ljudskih tragedija. Pravo na protest mora da postoji, ali niko ne može imati pravo da zarad svojih političkih ambicija čitavu zemlju pretvara u taoca.
Jer država koja dopusti da mrtvi postanu sredstvo za osvajanje vlasti, jednog dana neće biti u stanju da zaštiti ni žive.

And now what?
The weakness of Western society does not stem from its inability to project military power, but from its growing inability to mobilise people willing to defend it.
Decades of hypocrisy and double standards have eroded the very principles the West claims to defend. Time and again, it has supported virtually anyone who served its immediate economic or geopolitical interests — from the Mujahideen in Afghanistan and Islamist militants in Bosnia to extremists in Kosovo, Chechnya, ISIS and FSA in Syria and, arguably, even Ukraine today.
Principles are only meaningful when we uphold them even when doing so runs counter to our immediate interests.
A society that forgets its values for short-term geopolitical convenience should not be surprised when, in its hour of need, it finds nobody willing to sacrifice themselves to defend those values

2. She owns a small chic boutique in an upscale spot, she stood in her shop trying to save it from looting and theft telling them that she's a famous activist.
3. She told them I'm so-and-so, the activist for asylum, I'm with you, I've defended you and your entry and stay in France, they spat on her, knocked her down, and trampled her with their feet, good thing she's still alive.
4. And they looted the whole shop, losing all the struggle and work of her lifetime in a moment. Standing there stunned, not believing that these thieving, rabble-rousing, criminal, barbaric hordes are the ones she's spent her whole life defending, and advocating for them to invade her country and destroy it
