This book was right on time as I head into the new school year. Listening to Jon narrate it made it fun & educational. I am ready to get rid of the broken soundtracks & replace them with new ones. I can't wait to read the new one for students. @JonAcuff
Mr. Casey was my HS MATH teacher. I was not a gifted math student but Mr. Casey gave his time & expertise to help me & NEVER made me feel like a bother or incapable. I am one of your students that felt all of your giving. Thank You!

I am still riding the wave of the amazing night sponsored by @CAS_ct at the recognition dinner for the 2020 CAS Award recipients for Assistant Principal & Principal of the year awards. It was a fantastic night of celebration. Thank You!

Just a reminder that kids need unconditional positive regard -- especially right now. That doesn't mean you accept poor behavior -- it means you see them as inherently human when they make a mistake, recognize they're doing the best they can & never withhold warmth or affection.

Dr.@ClintSmithIII 's advice to educators -Don't ever underestimate what words of affirmation can do for your Ss. They hear you! Be thoughtful, be judicious & be intentional because adults in the lives of young people play a role in how they see themselves in the world.#PanoSummit
Dr. @ClintSmithIII reminded us why it is important for all educators to do the work of unlearning through exploration and recalibration as we think about the historical context of our content and the communities where we teach. #Panosummit
Ya’ll I just had a history class with @ClintSmithIII. He said the best educators don’t shame others for what they don’t know but compassionately bring their students on a journey toward awareness. He did just that! Can’t wait to read his book, How the Word is Passed #PanoSummit
“Being a trauma-informed school is not about fixing broken kids. They are not broken. Sometimes our systems need change to support student needs.” – Dr. Mary Crnobori (@MaryCrnobori) at Panorama Virtual Summit #PanoSummit
“In order to break free from Black stereotypes, Black students and educators must first take power over their story.” Anthony Murdock II (@amurdock_ii) #PanoSummit
Loved @KamilahDrummon1 's focus on how adult commitment to strengthening our SEL skill set helps us toward a resilient reopening. We have to be willing to check our "adultism" to create healthy emotional spaces for our students & families. #PanoSummit!
“We don’t lose our feelings when we become adults. You can shift cultures within your community by centering SEL whenever adults come together.” – Kamilah Drummond-Forrester at PanoramaEd Virtual Summit #PanoSummit
