Thank you for asking this question! I didn't even realize I have NOTHING on this topic in @desmos yet on this topic until I went to add the responses to my collections.

Completed another exponential activity. In true @desmos fashion I included some turtles. @AlgebraDesmos #iteachmath #mtbos #improvemyAB

I can't imagine a better asynchronous math activity than this.
It's the classic "Four Fours" task, now in @Desmos w/
👉 Student avatars.
👉 Answer recording.
👉 Classroom leaderboard.
Awesome work from @KenClarkson3. #iteachmath

I'm looking for an activity to do remotely with 8th grade Math 1 Ss on Proving Quadrilaterals & Triangles in the Coordinate Plane. Anyone have suggestions? #iteachmath #MTBoS #remotelearning

We hope you had a great time, and we would love to know if you did!
We’d also love to know if there was something that could’ve been better for you, or if something wasn’t quite right.

"It's not uncommon for students to graduate from high school believing that every math problem can be solved in 30 seconds or less. And if they don't know the answer, they're just not a math person," said @MathforLove #edchat #mathchat #mtbos kqed.org/mindshift/53404/why…
Come see me @NCCTM1 fall conference! Thursday morning, 8:30 I will let you know how you can get some of the $12,000 we are giving away!!!

Last year I saw another educator design a video similar to this. I just recreated it digitally. I think this could be a powerful way to show the angle relationships with parallel lines cut by a transversal. #iteachmath #MSmathChat #mtbos 🧠💚
OMG! @desmos and TURTLES??? There is 0% chance that this will not be used in my classroom!
1️⃣ Draw a graph.
2️⃣ Race some turtles!
🐢 Turtle Time Trials is the new free activity from your pals at Desmos!

I love Polygraph and so do my students. #doublewin
What do you get when you mix Guess Who & math? You get @Desmos' Polygraph to help students develop need for precise vocab.

I don't trust your ideas about teaching if they depend on knowledge being "basic" or not.
👉 "Students need to know the basics and THEN we'll let them do interesting stuff."
All knowledge seems basic after you know it. All the stuff should be interesting.

The standard I hold for all math classes and instructors is to include this statement in your syllabus AND actually live up to It. There’s more than one way to be a math doer and perfectionism isn’t one. #MathForAll #Respect ift.tt/2ZC4WD7
