I find it very difficult to read after my CRVO. Words dance around and doing it for any length of time gives me a headache. But at least I can still knit - probably because I don't have to keep looking at what I'm doing all the time.
Eye jab #2 done and I bought this as a special 'well done' treat for afterwards. It was tiny compared to what it used to be like but was still delicious... #shrinkflation
Keen to hear from anyone diagnosed with CRVO. I was 6 weeks ago and it has brought important parts of my life to a shuddering halt with no definite answers on what the future may hold. Feels quite lonely at the moment...
A huge thank you to Vanessa and Tom who came to our rescue at @uskgardencentre today when my son got a puncture. You were so kind and helpful and we are very grateful.

BBC 2. The Cure. Brilliant. Loved them since I heard 10.15 on a Saturday Night on John Peel when it first came out. One of the best live bands I've ever seen. Never understood why they are labelled as goth though...
Signed up for a couple of Christmas markets @TaurusCrafts and Magor Frost Fair in December. See you there...
Something a bit different. Tried knitting a cat-ear hat and love how it came out. Fab arran wool and lovely, cosy hat. Will be trying a few more of these in time for the Christmas markets... (thanks to the model btw ;-) ) #yellydo over on Instagram...
Basque Rioja spells the last night of our French and Spanish road trip. Had brilliant fun. Met some great people and ate and drank lots of delicious things. Back to UKs tomorrow on @BrittanyFerries from Santander. #funtimesonhols

The @NUJofficial supports the stance taken by publishers, arguing "this threatens not only to diminish the availability of important information to the public but also to deprive local newspapers of an important income stream at a time when they are already under severe pressure"
