August 13, 1991: Mr. Bungle unleashes their debut album.
I vividly recall the first time I heard this one (Sept. '91). Quite possibly the most unexpected, mind-blowing first listening experience of my life. I wore that cassette tape out, and still listen to the CD frequently.
Gotta give it to Squid Game--no other show I've loved has ever made me not care at all how it was going to end with thirty-some minutes left in the series finale. #SquidGame3 #SquidGameSeason3

I want to take the breath that's true
I look to you, and I see nothing
I look to you to see the truth"

Happy birthday to feminist and punk icon Kathleen Hanna 🖤
I once stayed in Hell's Kitchen. The couple above us would play piano & sing, and I'd think of this song. I never met the men, but I liked believing I knew their names.

This movie turned out to be a lot more fun than I expected it to be. Full of twists, a wonderful soundtrack, slick editing, and fantastic use of colors and lighting.
It's What's Inside (2024)
I'm devastated to hear the news about Tony Todd. He was a horror icon, one of my favorite actors, and a rare bright light here. I always loved when he'd share songs with us. RIP 💔
I close my eyes and this song takes me to a very dark yet thrilling time and place in my life.
