You can spend years thinking you're difficult to love when the real problem is that you've been asking emotionally unavailable people to meet you halfway.
Venus retrograde invites revision, but revision doesn't always mean reunion. You can revisit an old attachment, understand it clearly for the first time and still decide the door should stay shut.
There is a difference between being desired and being cherished. Venus may describe attraction beautifully; whether somebody can care for you consistently requires the rest of the story.
It's astonishing how much of adulthood is discovering that your parents were people before they became your parents. Then deciding which parts of their story you're willing to repeat.
Try wearing a fragrance associated with a happier chapter of your life. Notice what it brings back. Scent is an extraordinary archive, and a Venus practice can begin with remembering which parts of yourself still feel alive.

When reading a relationship, don't stop at the 7th house. The 5th speaks to pleasure and romance; the 4th to the home you may create; the 11th to friendship. Marriage, desire, domesticity and companionship aren't interchangeable questions.
Watching history burn is devastating. But moments of upheaval also raise a question:
What becomes possible when we stop treating uncertainty exclusively as something to survive, and begin treating it as something that reveals possibilities we couldn’t previously see?
Taurus risings have one of the most fascinating wealth configurations you can imagine.
Sagittarius 8H, Pisces 11H, Cancer 3H.
Jupiter rules their 8H and 11H, and is exalted in their 3H.
Their access to shared wealth, inheritances, and other people's resources (8H), their gains through friendships, communities, and benefactors (11H), and their ability to communicate, learn, and develop practical skills (3H) are all connected through Jupiter.
Jupiter represents growth, generosity, wisdom, and the expansion of possibilities. For Taurus rising, wealth may grow through participating in something larger than themselves. Partnerships, shared ventures, teaching, exchanging knowledge, and building relationships of genuine trust can open doors that individual effort might never have opened.
This is why I find the Jupiterian principle so interesting for Taurus rising. Their chart suggests that accumulation isn't only about holding on to what they possess. Sometimes the greatest opportunities appear through what they are willing to share, contribute, and build with others.
Looks like the Cancer New Moon we had on 14 July (Bastille Day) is being reactivated in France pretty dramatically.
I gave a list of countries that would be hit by that Cancer New Moon, including France. But that wasn’t the full list. Here are some others:
Eritrea: escalating military tensions with Ethiopia.
Belgium: protests and violent clashes with police.
South Africa: violent unrest over immigration.
Morocco: youth protests and a change of government.
The Sun in Libra squared the July New Moon degree on 15 October, and the Moon in Capricorn opposed it today.
I’m revisiting the original research to see how these developments correspond with the national charts.
On 14 July 2026, the Cancer New Moon falls at 21°59 Cancer.
This is bigger than domestic unrest in the USA.
That degree activates the 20°–24° cardinal zone: Aries, Cancer, Libra, Capricorn. Several national charts have major placements there, including China, France, Iraq, Egypt, Portugal, Saudi Arabia, Greece, and Syria.
This comes on the heels of the Mars-Uranus conjunction in Gemini, which falls in the 7th house of the USA Sibley chart: contracts, agreements, foreign relations, and open enemies.
The chart points outward: rivals, allies, treaties, sanctions, trade, proxy conflicts, and the fault lines of the global order.
A relationship can end long before either person leaves. The conversation changes first. Then the jokes disappear. Eventually you're living beside a memory of what it used to be.
On June 27, I forecast a two-year pressure window beginning around America’s 250th birthday. I drew parallels with the Storming of the Bastille and suggested France might feature in wider unrest.
Yesterday, protesters in Marseille shouted: “We’re taking the Bastille.”

Ă€ Lyon, l’office de tourisme de la place Bellecour a Ă©tĂ© pillĂ© et incendiĂ©. Des violences ont Ă©galement Ă©tĂ© signalĂ©es Ă Rennes, Toulouse, Angers et d’autres villes : tentatives de pillage, attaques contre les forces de l’ordre et dĂ©gradations.
â•ď¸Ź Ă€ la mi-journĂ©e, le ministère de l’IntĂ©rieur recensait dĂ©jĂ 140 actions et plus de 32 800 personnes mobilisĂ©es hors de Paris, avec des centaines d’interpellations au total (272 en milieu d’après-midi selon certains bilans). Les autoritĂ©s anticipaient jusqu’à 40 000 Ă 60 000 participants Ă Paris et 150 000 en rĂ©gions, dans une « convergence des colères » rĂ©unissant anciens Gilets jaunes, lycĂ©ens, syndicats (dont la CGT), agriculteurs et militants du climat.
