Great thread here looking at housing incentive opportunities in LA. Very relevant given today’s vote re: CHIP.

Seems like a positive long term legacy project post-Olympics. Great to see. These don’t always work out as pitched.
The 2024 Olympic Village in Paris will accommodate nearly 15,000 athletes. After this summer, it will become a neighborhood with:
• 2,500 new homes
• Office space for 6,000 workers
• Two schools, a hotel, green space

Initially completed in 2016, updated in 2020, & now 2024: Premiums generated by ground-floor Whole Foods or Trader Joe’s have held relatively stable since 2020, earning a 6.0% & 5.6% premium respectively. Other Premium Grocers have begun closing the gap, achieving a 5.2% premium.
Read #RCLCO’s just released #research into the impact of ground-floor grocers, which demonstrates the meaningful competitive advantages that these projects gain over nearby competitors!

Great to see @RCLCO’s Sports Venue Real Estate Development Tracker featured here along with quotes from our leadership. Another sector we have high conviction in.
A proposed $2.5 billion development promises to bring more amenities to the South Philadelphia Sports Complex.
It’s a model that’s working at stadiums around the country, including at the home base of one of the Phillies’ top rivals. inquirer.com/real-estate/com…
Easier to build ADUs in a stadium than in most major cities 😂 cool to see continued evolution of stadium experience development take more cues from real estate.
Really proud of this one. Not sure there has been anything this comprehensive published in the space. For all my sports real estate fans, check this out from @RCLCO:
