this play happened in the 2013 NBA Finals 13 years ago and Tiago Splitter is a Head Coach now and LeBron is STILL in the league lol

Becky Hammon.
Jalen Brunson proved you completely wrong.

Becky Hammon: Knicks don't have a dude... you got to have a 1A dude
Perkins: They DO have that dude
Becky: Who?
Perkins: Jalen Brunson
Becky: He too small… If your best player is small, you're not winning... Steph Curry is the only dude

This type of hoops drives me batshit crazy…
It goes against everything taught. Crash the glass hard, turn, find your man, put a body on them & box out
Brunson knows exactly what he’s doing. 0 intention of boxing out. EVERY intention of drawing the foul.

Jalen Brunson taking 30 shots a game just to average 25 ppg. Not even playmaking good, average to negative defender. Not even the best player in the finals it’s been Kat. Up 2-0 because of amazing roster construction. He’s shooting 30% FG and getting away with it cause teams good

No one actually cares about Finals records
No one says Duncan is 5-1 (with his only loss being in Game 7 to a LeBron-led team), so he’s better than Kareem or Magic
It’s never used (unless it’s MJ) because ppl inherently know it’s a team stat
No one cares that Pippen is 6-0 too

Stephon Castle on the biggest difference between defending Jalen Brunson vs. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander:
"Jalen likes to use angles a lot more, pump fakes. Get to his spots. Not really trying to draw fouls as much, trying to get to his midrange and spots where he likes."
