Nearly any fool can govern a people, it takes little effort to keep status quo. Leadership takes risk, and accepts there will be failure along the way. You won't be able to blame anyone else for it. You just need to continue on. The mob won't like it, but is the mob right?

Anyone know where we can get a couple hundred tire sidewalls for a bunk in south western Ontario. Both our normal suppliers are out

Is the corn as dry as I would like, no, no it is not. Is the corn starting to break down in the field and are ground conditions near perfect, yes, yes it is! #ontag

I know its not easy, but when a guy sees 7 days of good weather in the forecast, getting a storm cell or shower every second day is sort of ridiculous...!! This one brought presents. @WxOntario1

The 9460R @ 9 mph and about 3-4 inch depth was all it wanted on a 25 ft machine. Speed did make it do a better job. Tillage floors were pretty consistent across.

Fuel consumption per acre was similar, about 0.5 L/ac more with Joker, but we were doing 8-10 ac/hr more with the Joker @ 25 ft vs Lemken @ 21

The Lemken. 👇

The Lemken was doing a similar job with the tillage floor, not quite as uniform, and had a harder time in compacted soils. Taken with a grain of salt, as it has several thousand more acres of wear and blades haven't been done yet. We could only pull it 7-8 mph with 7230R

As much as the conservatives dislike the CFR, it is now heavily baked into markets for #Cdnag Ethanol production in eastern Canada is over 30% of the #corn market now. Like it or not, farmers need improvements to the CFR that promote domestic feedstock use and production!

Does anyone have a drill to match this one that they want to sell? It has to have black row units with the 4x12 lead gauge wheel. I need parts that Krause doesn’t make anymore.

Still have a very nice 18R 20” Capello chopping corn head for sale. It’s a 2015 but we bought it new in 2017. Always shedded other than a few days of corn harvest each fall. Every year it did about 500-1000ac so fairly low acre unit. Has Claas adapter but could be switched.

Grain cart auger cylinder is bent. $250 from reputable shop in town. $1000 from dealer. $100 at Princess Auto. I mean, $250 x 100% markup twice does make $1000, but it's not sustainable for the farm...🤦‍♂️
