I really like Guns N Roses Chinese Democracy, but it is true that a few of the songs really do sound like the Dracula Puppet Rock Opera from Forgetting Sarah Marshall. Street of Dreams being the worst culprit.

RedLetterMedia needs to start doing a podcast. I've been listening to their film commentary tracks whilst working this last week. They are great. They could get together & chat about films for an hour once a week in a looser format than Half in the Bag, & I would gladly listen.

I'm 45 years old. I've played guitar since the age of 14. That's 31 years. Am I 31 years good? Not at all. I can appear good at times. Because 31 years of messing about brought me to a certain level which can appear semi competent to anyone not really paying much attention...
Next up is Berklee & CAGED systems to fill the gaps. Within months, I will have the entire fretboard memorised & will be ready to play in any key whilst understanding the notes & patterns. Completely overturning 31 years of laziness. I even learnt Wonderwall. It's addictive...

The Offspring's Smash album has turned 30. My big brother bought me this album when I was 13 years old. It pretty much changed my entire musical perspective & is still one of my all time favourite albums. I will never stop loving this album. #theoffspring
