In this Sunday’s Gospel, five women refuse to help five others in need. And Jesus calls them wise!
How can that be?
Because the oil in their lamps represents something no one can give you or lend you: your own response to God’s grace.
No one else can love God in your place.
“Oh! how empty is all that has not been done for God and with God! I beg you, oh, mark everything with the seal of love! It alone endures.”

"Compassion, my dear Brother, is preferable to cleanliness. Reflect that with a little soap, I can easily clean my bed covers, but even with a torrent of tears, I would never wash from my soul the stain that my harshness toward the unfortunate would create."

The answer to all the marriage rights issues is that there should be no state involvement at all.
It was Luther who first widely encouraged the state to become involved in marriage, to desacralize it.
It began the treatment of marriage as a mere civil contract or transaction when in fact it is an oath taken before God, a sacrament.
So much of the disastrous modern world we see today began in the period of the Protestant revolt.

Green card holders are voting in California
The signatures of multiple green card holders voter registration forms were matched to their immigration paperwork confirming it was them voting, they’ve been voting FOR YEARS
“Falsely claimed to be US citizens when registering to vote and cast ballots in elections dating back several years”
Just imagine how widespread this is, I’ll bet tens of thousands of green card holders are voting at least, as well as people on visas
This is why we need proof of citizenship to vote. This is also why Democrats so fiercely oppose proof of citizenship to vote, because they know ineligible voters are voting

On this All Souls Day, we remember in prayer all our beloved dead and every member of the faithful departed, especially those who have no one to pray for them.
Eternal rest grant unto them, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon them. May the souls of all the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen.
“Let us help and commemorate [the dead]. If Job’s sons were purified by their father’s sacrifice (Job 1:5), why would we doubt that our offerings for the dead bring them some consolation?”

Karen Black as we were waiting for a table at a Mexican restaurant in Studio City. Also Erica Shaffer while walking through Downtown Disney. Spoke with both of them while no one seemed to recognize them. Cool memories.
“You must strive, with all possible care, to please God, in such a manner as neither to do nor behold anything without first consulting Him, and in everything to seek Him alone and His glory.”

My biggest concern is that if there is a clean sweep by Democrats of the House, Senate and Presidency in 2028, they will:
1. Make DC and Puerto Rico states to gain a strong majority in the Senate.
2. Open the borders and legalize everyone living in America illegally to cement a permanent majority.
3. Increase the size of the Supreme Court to gain an immediate majority.
This would result in America becoming a permanent one-party state and the end of democracy in any meaningful sense of the word.
All that is needed to ensure this doesn’t happen is 51 Republican senators in 2029. That is why you should vote for Republican senators this election. Other reasons are irrelevant compared to this one.
