The metaverse will be the future workplace for the agentic workforce - aka, where companies manage their agentic workforce. Nothing more human than applying a human reality to AI.

After six years in stealth, Atomic Machines is out. Our mission: on-demand, universal command of matter. First beachhead: the Matter Compiler, an AI-native manufacturing system that builds working micro-machines from code alone. No per-product tooling. No process development. Different code, different machine.
This will be the best entry to any industry with a competitive moat previously thought as a barrier to entry for start ups / small businesses. It won’t last long, and will be saturated fast, but the first to market effectively will penetrate. It won’t last long if done poorly tho
Absolutely. I learned this when I crossed the seven figure mark with my early 20s business at year 3 end… it was joy for about 15 minutes, then wondering and lost for about 6 months while just maintaining. This is the exact thing that got me out of it (and made me set much more ambitious goals)
The most dangerous moment is right after you win.
You did it. You made the money. You quit your job. You built the physique. You got the girl. Now what? Most people let themselves decline into misery because their driving force has now vanished.
You need another mountain to climb. You need to understand that it is a gift, not a curse, to always be in the pursuit of your potential - the constant balance of challenge and skill is what makes life meaningful. There is no final top of the mountain.
Okay, so… one single company that wasn’t Anthropic, or Open AI, has achieved ASI before either of them (prob Google bc Gemini seems like a joke and it shouldn’t) so they now support throttling and regulation of AI advancement towards ASI. Got it.
There are two ways AI progress could go very badly and that we must avoid.
First, we could lose control of the future to AI. This is unacceptable; we are unapologetically on Team Humanity, and AI must always serve people. To ensure that, we need ways to ensure that alignment and safety techniques stay ahead of progress in model capabilities.
Second, we could end up in a world with too much concentration of power. If an extraordinarily powerful AI is used by one person or company to impress their worldview onto everyone else, the results could be extremely dystopian.
Avoiding these two threats requires walking a narrow middle path; for example, one country could gain too much power. Another example is one lab ending up with too much power.
Why is no one talking about how the entire math drama between Claude and those mathematicians means any data you shared with OpenAI is now at-risk, regardless of business or enterprise subscriptions?
By far one of the greatest advocates on American AI War Success on X. His research, logic, and rationale is at the top of the spectrum. If you care about this stuff - this is your guy to follow. (hate posts like these btw)
A lot of inventions happened through illogical reasoning and with heavy scrutiny against available data and opinions on what was realistically achievable. I wonder what impact AI telling people things aren’t possible, will have on this.
Elon is the Buddha of Capitalism.
Allowing others to compete with him, using his own infrastructure.

Just as SpaceX launches hundreds of satellites for competitors with fair terms and pricing, we will provide compute to AI companies that are taking the right steps to ensure it is good for humanity.
We reserve the right to reclaim the compute if their AI engages in actions that harm humanity.
Doing our best to achieve a great future with amazing abundance for all.
We will make mistakes, as to err is human, but always take rapid action to address them.
Its wild to think that patents are the reason why we have no LLM-powered smart speakers. Why hasn't someone built a smart speaker that easily integrates with any LLM or its API? Patents... simple patents around core functionalities for a viable smart speaker.
I can’t imagine anything else that would have a more profound impact on the future of societies than mandatory courses in K-12 on logic, ethics, and rhetoric.

cool convo from few days ago: most ppl don’t realize that unlike girl group dynamics of subtle hierarchies male friend groups often function more like role based ecosystems. in real friendship groups nobody’s ever really jockeying for alpha status. instead the group coherence depends on everyone leaning into their strengths.
the funny guy, the planner, the driver, the chaos agent, the diplomat, etc. each role contributes to the vibe. when circumstance shifts (road trip vs breakup vs night out), the leader shifts too, dude leadership is situational not fixed.
thoughts?
