Mid September Highs for MN

How much do you think the world is underestimating the amount of weight Mark Daigneault has on the success of the team in the playoffs? @AndrewKSchlecht

A classic nocturnal rain on a mild Minnesota night in February... We bring back some sun after these morning clouds. Highs today in the upper 40s. Cold air returns briefly on Saturday. @WCCO #mnwx #wiwx

Overnight clouds are helping our temperature out this morning. It still FEELS like it is below zero..but whatever, it's warming. Little by little. Expect highs in the double digits today. Even warmer this weekend. Have a great Thursday! @WCCO #mnwx #wiwx

Terrible wind chills this morning. It won't take much time for frostbite to set in. A NEXT Weather Alert is in place for the morning (potentially tomorrow morning too) Major improvements expected by the weekend; 30s and 40s! Hang in there🐈‍⬛#mnwx #wiwx @WCCO

Last week at this time we were very concerned with the vicious cold that was sweeping through. THIS WEEK...much warmer. It will feel like a late March day on Thursday. The wind will blow your cover today & tomorrow. Most days this week will be breezy. @WCCO #mnwx #wiwx

Building character, they say! But it is DANGEROUSLY cold and we have a NEXT Weather Alert in place until noon today. Temperatures will return to the positive side this afternoon. Wind chills will remain below zero for the day. @WCCO #mnwx #wiwx

Still cold, but still sunny! 🥶☀️ We get back above average near the end of the week with more clouds. We are still waiting on our first snow storm of the new year. Nothing moving through this week (that is worth talking about). @WCCO #mnwx #wiwx

Chit-chatting about the weather conditions for holiday travel!

We are back below freezing today. Some light snow this evening, nothing major. *THURSDAY ❄️ will likely bring our first 2"+ snow event of the season. Last winter we ONLY had 3. This may give us what we need for a white Christmas (though trending warm next week). @WCCO #mnwx

Enough snow on the ground to make some of the roads partially covered this morning. No new snow today as we remain dry as cold dry air moves in. Cover up as much as possible as the wind chills will be below zero ALL DAY AND NIGHT. @wcco #mnwx #wiwx

Minnesota COLD arrives tomorrow! By the time Wed. pm shows up, we will have wind chills below zero. Grab the hand warmers and do what you can to stay warm! 🥶 As the cold front moves in, we will also get a coating of snow (1/2-1") @WCCO #mnwx #wiwx

A new coat of snow! It's not much, but it has been enough to cause some problems for the morning commute. We are finished with anything more for the day. Most areas picking up near a 1/2 inch. We hit the mid 20s today. It will feel like the teens. Still cold...@WCCO #mnwx #wiwx

There will be snow blowing around throughout the day. Some now, some later. Most areas will just have snow on the grassy areas. Visibility may be lower while driving. It will be cold and windy for ALL! Bundle up friends. @WCCO #mnwx #wiwx

A slice of red sky before we cloud up here in the Twin Cities. Rain has been coming down to the west with some Weather Watchers already collecting .05 - .50" !! It will be slow to move in today, but expect our shower chances to increase this afternoon (and evening). @WCCO #mnwx
