Big fan of this. #sufc
You don’t need a UEFA Pro Licence to see that the midfield gets run through time and time again. Concerned. 👀 #SUFC
Saturday will be the 5th time (lucky?) at Wembley for me. Prepared for flashbacks when I see the arch - Elliott's effort dipping, Simonsen sinking to his knees, Quinn arriving in the box unmarked - but also confident that this time, finally, we can put the hoodoo to rest. #SUFC

Sheffield United manager Chris Wilder holds aloft a George Baldock shirt as he celebrates his side securing a first Steel City Derby double since 2006.

Breaking a recent X duck to make a #journorequest for interesting businesses here in #Sheffield - companies doing innovative, interesting things that might have flown under the radar. @HelpSheffield
Wrote about last month's Rules Derby between @HallamFC1860 and @sheffieldfc for the Feb Exposed. Great atmosphere at Sandygate and a message we can all get behind on supporting the game's grassroots: exposedmagazine.co.uk/whats-…
Couple of extra quid and we could've had Diego Maradona on the tear down West Street. #SUFC
Lucky enough to get a ticket for @HallamFC1860 vs @sheffieldfc last night – the world’s oldest football derby. Enjoyable atmosphere, affordable food/drink and a fast-paced, end to end game. Can see grassroots attendances continuing to grow at Sandygate. ⚽️
Such an ugly, sneering ‘back in your box’ narrative re: Louise Haigh – a genuinely impressive, committed and – above all –relatable MP. It’s grim and reflective of why Westminster is heaving with out of touch weirdos.
Nigel Huddleston, Tory party chair:
“These are extremely concerning revelations about the person responsible for managing £30bn of taxpayers' money. Starmer has serious questions to answer regarding what he knew and when about the person he appointed as Transport Secretary admitting to having misled the police”
Spoke to @PeteMcKee today about his new exhibition, 'The Boy with a Leg Named Brian', which opens at Weston Park tomorrow. Really enjoyed the convo/sneak peek & I'd recommend getting booked in as weekend slots are flying out (you've got all year though)! exposedmagazine.co.uk/arts-c…

It's the anniversary of the greatest diary entry of all time, from Michael Palin.

Knocked up my thoughts on #KENREX at @crucibletheatre’s Playhouse last night. Biggest take-home was the staggering solo performance from Jack Holden.

The best autumn food so far was a steaming bowl of gnocchi in a beef and onion ragu at Caffe Tucci on Hunter's Bar. Italian cafe/deli delights during the day and build-your-own pasta bowls in the eve. Excellent place.
One of the best bits of my job is poking around Sheffield boozers with @marcabarker, and I love this picture he recently took of the evergreen Fat Cat in Kelham. Also wrote a few words about their banging (and still very reasonably priced) new menu. exposedmagazine.co.uk/whats-…
Football fans often like to think they “know” their club’s players. But when you’ve got someone who wore honesty, humility and passion on their sleeve as openly as George Baldock did, it’s hard not to feel as though you had a good measure of the man. Devastating news. #sufc
Made to measure for @RichardHawley last night @RandRCircus. Cruised through a flawless set. A few months back, we discussed this gig (linked) and he predicted that his new track ‘People’ would resonate with a Sheffield crowd. He was right. exposedmagazine.co.uk/music/…
Random Bash story. Drunkenly bought him a pint in The Grapes once, not long after the covid relegation season. Brought it to his table and he goes, "Cheers mate, but I'm not sure I deserve this - I should be getting you a pint after all that shite."* #sufc
