Dominant starts 😤
Stripes starting pitcher Liam Radke and Stars starter Jose Partida both struck out five in their three innings of work!

Jose Partida (27, CA) threw a ton of strikes in this one, and grabbed a 92 with the FB. The SL (clip) came out of the hand well and got weak contact. Smooth left handed delivery and got three quick outs. #ForksUp commit #PGAAC @California_PG

Business as usual for Jose Partida out of Cathedral Catholic ( @CCHSBaseball7 ). Tossed a clean inning on just 8 pitches at the PG All American Classic. FB worked 90-92, breaking ball 80, CH 82 in this brief look. @PG_Scouting @PGAllAmerican

🌟 AAC PLAYER SPOTLIGHT 🌟

Scout Notes:
Partida is a pitch-ability southpaw with an advanced pitch mix that he keeps around the zone. Operates from a medium left-handed frame with present lower half strength and a bit of length. Works the fastball into the low-90s, relying on a fade and tumble change-up to produce whiffs. Also offers a tight slider.

👀 WHAT IT SHOULD LOOK LIKE
Jose Partida (@JosePartida33) made me feel like I was watching Ranger Suarez @AreaCodeBSB.
Easy delivery, moved FB around that never lost MPH, CH a weapon vs. RHH and SL execution led to baffled LHH. Feel, signs of command and future stuff… what a future LHSP looks like👍.

First time seeing Partida and it came as advertised from @vinniealfino42
The arm talent is easily noticeable and there is some polish to the operation & pitchability w/M2C

Jose Partida, loose, solid, balanced mix. 90-93 on FB w/some ride + run, 79-82 SL w/short, downer action, good feel for 80-84 CH. 8 whiffs, 4 on SL, 2 FB, 2 CH. Good projection arm that throws strikes.
