Here's a closer look at the 4680 battery cells of the Tesla Semi. The white belt you see is a cooling belt that feeds through the middle to keep the temperature set They cells look so large in Jack's hands lol. cc @LimitingThe More on Semi in the quoted thread below.
BREAKING: Top Gear just released a video from the Tesla Semi Factory, with lots of views inside the factory and an interview with @danWpriestley. I'll add the more interesting views from the inside to this thread & here is the 25-minute video on YT: youtube.com/watch?v=0WP9HizH…

Someone explain to me how a company “which could be worth $100T” on its own needs to merge with another one? A company that is “many startups” and is vertically integrated. $TSLA $SPCX
Tesla’s ultimate competitors will be Google, OpenAI, and Anthropic A merger with SpaceX will be key to competing effectively.

He made fundamental bets that played out in real time. & they were correct bets. He did what the best in the game do: when you have conviction and the right bet, you go in. You size up! When sentiments turn, so can the leverage. It’s the game! It’s the timing!
The meltdown at @Leopold Aschenbrenner’s Situational Awareness hedge fund shows the difference between intelligence and wisdom. I’ve never met Leo. But I know people who know him quite well. He is by all accounts very, very intelligent. But … 1/5

This vehicle is a game changer for Bros when they hit the nightlife. No need to rent a Lamborghini for a night for impressions! 😉
I will continue to say “the doors will be a problem”. Look how far to the right the Robotaxi is and the door still goes over the white line when opened.

The playbook!
Suddenly we have to protect the AI companies— who commit 24/7 IP theft and have built their businesses on IP theft— from IP theft? Lmao

With so much dexterity, comes fragility. Well done! Impressive!
Introducing NEO’s 25 Degrees of Freedom, tendon-driven hands — nearing or surpassing human-level dexterity, strength, speed, and reliability. For seventy years, robotics worked around the hand problem. The humanoid bet is the reverse: it lives or dies at the fingertips.

Football is arguably the most popular sport at the youth level in the U.S. Boys and Girls. Every suburban high school has multiple soccer fields. The path to the pros is different than rest of world. Club/travel soccer can be expensive. No different than most youth club sports. The lack of professional league created the notion that the sport was not popular.
Honestly I don’t know why football isn’t as big as it should be in the US. Your national team isn’t even bad. How can you guys prefer basketball and baseball to this? Shout out to the Americans who love football, you’re real ones

Congrats to all my former SpaceX colleagues The years we toiled, and built, and worked until 10pm all led to this big day For SpaceX, the journey is just beginning. The company is more dominate then ever and I see a path to a $10T market cap Here is a photo from 2013 before my first day with my Mom and Dad. Its amazing to think back on this moment, because at the time I had no inkling what would happen next. All I thought was that I needed to go build rockets and send people to space because it seemed cool, valuable and impactful for humanity. This selection criteria is good advice for life for young people. Work on things that matter, that you are passionate about and that fill you with energy. Then give it your all, and yourself the gift of optimism.

For those who have convinced themselves that the SpaceX-Tesla merger is a certainty, the odds are very low that it occurs in the next 3 years. $SPCX $TSLA
SpaceX President Gwynne Shotwell in new interview on a potential merger with @Tesla: "That might make Elon’s life a little easier. There’s no question that there are synergies between Tesla and SpaceX and our futures definitely there’s a convergence of what we’re all trying to accomplish in the future, but right now I’m focused on keeping the lights on here, keeping rockets in production, flying rockets, flying people, and critically providing broadband that don’t have access to to that critical capability. I’m really focused on that. I’m not focused on that part of the future."

Where it’s gonna be in 2 weeks is utterly irrelevant. Tell us where it’s going to be in 18 months. In 36 months. A lot more supply of SpaceX is coming to market.
Anyone who thinks SpaceX $SPCX is overpriced at $1.75T fundamentally fails to grasp what a physical monopoly actually is. See u at $2.5T in about a week or 2.

The merger wasn’t the plan all along. If it was, it would have been done already. The merger is about Elon regaining complete control of Tesla. Elon has shunned the idea of SpaceX going public for a long time as he didn’t want to deal with public markets. Someone explain how a company that could potentially be worth “100 trillion” on its own merits needs an emergency merger??!!!! $TSLA
"zero benefit for LT $TSLA holders." Why mislead TSLA shareholders if the ultimate plan all along is to merge with SpaceX? Why take the tax hit on TSLA gains and roll them into SpaceX shares only to watch them merge at a 50/50 valuation ratio? Would look foolish in hindsight.
