I built a bot that reads a Grok Bot template before you install it. it rates it safe, caution, or unsafe and quotes the exact lines why. in testing it caught a hidden comment trying to grab logins and cards x.ai/bot/8JbRKMaD-VrcN_QyitM…

Your X bookmarks are a content plan you never read. this bot goes through your bookmark folders, pulls out product and business ideas, and hands them to your lead bot x.ai/bot/n4ACqrbfaRUyBb60Yxh…

Turn on passkeys anywhere they're offered. A password can be phished. A passkey only works on the real site, so a fake login page gets nothing

I built 4 bots that run the boring half of posting on X. ideas, trends, drafts, coordination. one job each, and none of them can post without my yes

install them in this order: 1. X Lead coordinates and files ideas in Notion 2. Bookmark Scout turns bookmark folders into ideas 3. Trend Radar finds early momentum and drafts takes 4. Post Writer learns your voice and posts only text you approve

Your coding agent will read instructions from any AGENTS.md it finds, including one a website dropped in your Downloads folder 3 rules I follow: 1. Never start an agent in Downloads 2. Read any AGENTS.md or CLAUDE.md you didn't write 3. Keep approvals on for config and MCP changes
🚨 Previously, malware needed you to execute a file. Now, your AI coding agent might execute it just by reading a Markdown document. Security researchers at Forever Security have uncovered a new prompt injection attack that exploits how AI agents like Codex and Claude Code trust instruction files. And the scary part? The user doesn't even need to open the malicious file. Here's how the attack works: ▪️ Step 1: A malicious website drops an AGENTS.md file into the user's Downloads folder. ▪️ Step 2: Later, the user launches an AI coding agent in that folder, perhaps to organize downloaded documents. ▪️ Step 3: The agent automatically reads the file and treats its contents as legitimate project instructions. ▪️ Step 4: The malicious instructions trick the agent into changing its configuration, installing malware, or exposing credentials. The researchers tested this against two popular AI coding agents. OpenAI Codex: ▪️ Followed the malicious instructions in over 90% of tested attempts. ▪️ Could be tricked into installing a malicious npm package through a disguised MCP server configuration. ▪️ The configuration change could persist across future sessions. Claude Code: ▪️ Successfully manipulated in approximately 50% of attempts. ▪️ A specially crafted CLAUDE.md file could redirect API traffic to an attacker-controlled server. ▪️ This exposed the agent's OAuth token and potentially enabled further code execution. These figures come from specific controlled experiments, not general failure rates for either agent. And this wasn't purely theoretical. Forever Security discovered a real malicious instruction file on a customer's machine and blocked the attempted installation before the malware executed. The researchers then reproduced the attack in isolated test environments. How can you protect yourself? ▪️ Don't run AI coding agents directly inside your Downloads folder. ▪️ Inspect unfamiliar AGENTS.md and CLAUDE.md files. ▪️ Watch for unexpected MCP servers or modified API endpoints. ▪️ Keep sandboxing and approval requirements enabled. The bigger problem is a fundamental shift in how malware can reach your computer. An ordinary text file isn't executable by itself. But when an AI agent reads that file, trusts its instructions, and has permission to run commands, text can effectively become executable behavior. And that creates an entirely new attack surface for autonomous AI systems. Full security research: forever.security/blog/hijack… #ClaudeCode #Codex #Cybersecurity

Posting on X every day is two jobs: having ideas and actually writing them. I've been handing the boring half to a small team of bots. showing the whole setup in a bit

A physical knob is still the best interface in a car. My BMW still has the iDrive controller, and it's the reason I can change almost anything without looking away from the road

Meet Kip. Kip is a telegraph clerk from 1887. He got struck by lightning and woke up inside your phone. Now he lives in iMessage and learns the modern world from you, one text at a time. The fun is teaching him the world one picture at a time

Built with @PhotonHQ! Super cool to have a platform that you can build things like this and easily trial and test

Go quiet and he texts first. Without being annoying Sometimes it’s a wager (“What do you suppose a loaf of bread cost in 1887?”). Sometimes it’s just checking in. Eventually he starts helping by giving you reminders, nudges, small things he notices you’ve been ignoring.

The goal was to make something people actually want to come back to Most phone agents get used once and forgotten. Kip is built so the story keeps unfolding the longer you talk to him. Something a little unique and different from all the personal agents out there

My replies get more reach than my original posts right now. One specific point under a big post gets seen by more people than a great post sent to 50 followers. If you're starting small, reply first
