Incredible experience watching the #knicks win the championship at the Radio City Music Hall! Video sums up the atmosphere and the party on the streets after the game.
If Sharonda had been rocked out, would Lewis still be dragged out because of the blood ring or does the fact that he’s safe from the rock draw supersede that? Or does it not matter because the blood ring is fake? #Survivor51

The 1998 Yankees went 125-50 including the playoffs.
Their best MVP finish was third. No one on the roster hit 30 homers. That's the definition of a team with no weaknesses.
Bernie Williams won the batting title, David Wells threw a perfect game, and the closer had a 1.91 ERA. They swept the Padres in the World Series and Scott Brosius, hitting sixth or seventh every night, was the MVP.
Best team I've seen in my life.

10/10. No notes.
James Talarico on abortion:
"Some of my spiritual heroes, like Pope Francis and Pope Leo, are pro-life. I can respect anyone who is pro-life. We treat this debate as a philosophical debate or a theological debate when it's actually a public policy problem.
We can join together to make sure we have scientifically valid sex education, that folks who need contraception can get it, that everyone has health care—something the Catholic Church has led on."

Best defensive performance by the #jets in a long time and breakout game for David Bailey!
I REALLY don’t care what Andrew Yang of all people has to say about the #Knicks

I can’t wait to never see Jazz Chisholm or Trent Grisham in a Yankee uniform ever again

I have a lengthy and nuanced take in response to @RealMichaelKay’s takes this morning on Aaron Boone.
Michael’s position is that while it’s not only unacceptable to repeatedly lose in the division series, it’s worse when you consider you’re repeatedly losing to teams you outspend while looking BAD in the process.
He eventually goes on to conclude that Boone and Cashman being dismissed would lead to them being hired elsewhere, and I also find this point to be true.
Most importantly, Kay wants Yankees fans to know they have every right to be furious but wants fans to acknowledge the product isn’t terrible, it’s just limited. He goes on to compare the Yankees with the Mets, which absolutely favors the Yankees despite similar payrolls.
Now here is my take: If the Yankees lose this series (stats say they have a 91.2% chance of doing so) Aaron Boone should be relieved of his duties and I’ll explain why in depth now.
The Yankees very clearly don’t have a talent problem, they are repeat offenders of mentally folding when you need them most. In a one off year with an outlier lack in judgement, you could blame the players. But this is every year without let up. The New York Yankees will undoubtably be the least mentally sharp team on the field in any predetermined “test series” no matter the year or roster tweaks.
Moving on from Boone isn’t an equation of him not winning enough regular season games. It’s WHEN he loses his games (when it matters) and HOW teams he’s responsible to lead loses them.
Essentially they have no culture.
Think substitute teacher. If you asked the students who their favorite subs were, they’d tell you the teacher that threw on movies and let them text in class. Never the disciplinarian.
Hal Steinbrenner needs to hire who the Yankees’ clubhouse NEEDS, not who they WANT.

The Yankees, off 4 championships in 6 years from 1996 to 2001, never rested on their success.
2002: Signed Jason Giambi
2003: Signed Hideki Matsui
2004: Acquired Alex Rodriguez, signed Gary Sheffield
2005: Acquired Randy Johnson
2006: Signed Johnny Damon, acquired Bobby Abreu
They ultimately weren’t able to win again until 2009 but I miss when the Yankees loaded up on stars every year.

This organization continues to be an absolute clown show and an embarrassment.
Year after year after year after year after year.
But don’t worry, Cashman and Boone got us next year!!!!

I never want to see Ryan McMahon on the field again. Can’t hit. Can’t field. Enough
This is not enough accountability for the dumbest thing I’ve seen on the bases in a long time. Yes he said it was wrong, but he’s still trying to justify it. Absolutely no justification and it may have lost us the game #yankees

This was always the game that was gonna be a steal if we won it because of the pitching matchup, but that was an embarrassment. No hits with the exception of Wells, and on the one hit, he makes one of the worst decisions you’ll ever see on a baseball field #yankees
