Great. @Big12Conference admitted it messed up. The problem is there is no accountability and they’ll be another mistake next week. This is becoming a weekly occurrence across the sport.

And this is a bigger problem, imo, than debating how many @CFBPlayoff teams we need. Get the officiating right. It isn’t this hard. There are 7+ guys on the field and they can’t get a simple call right. Two weeks in a row we’ve seen a blatant DPI and now the clock issue.

As some have noted, there was indeed :01 on the bug clock when the pass hit the ground (BYU/ND). Replay should have reviewed to determine if the in-stadium clock was at :01 at that point and if so, ND would have had one more play.

It would be better with competent officiating… But no one wants to have that conversation. We just want to argue about rather 12 or 24 makes sense.
