No doubt we lack squad depth but we have the best keeper in the league, top 3 RB, LW and Striker. The rest aren't bad either. Just need more depth in January and it could be an interesting season.

Let me get this right, your point is we should only take that approach when they work? They all came from the same approach. Some work, some don't. Overall if all we're to be resold we'd make a massive profit so it's a success.
Leonard was one of them and we sold him and bought what could be a 20 goal a season striker with the money.
Not all will work but as long as they're more valuable as a whole and we sell at the height of their value, it's a good model.
Issue is we tend to hold on too long and sell with only a year left at a discounted rate.
