It is that time of year where the IC publishes the CERTIFIED statutory declarations of the PM and OL. For the past several years only the OL's has been published and thats why labourites attack the IC; they are not credible if they hold Anju accountable.

Here is the order of injunction that blocked the special sitting. I note there were no damages submitted as to why the meeting must be blocked. These fools are using up our money to pay attorneys to hang on to power for a few days.

If I am a police in Jamaica 🇯🇲 the commissioner cannot send me on a raid to confront gunmen without proper gares. I am not going. Full stop! They send the young youths who just graduated with no experience, no proper gares on the front line to killed themselves . Wickedness!!

Lately, l've come to the conclusion that it's ALWAYS that deep. You may not see them or know who they are but there are active forces and people at work trying to keep you from living in a better world. Be conscious, study, watch, listen, and organize.

So the suggestion by one minister is to spend another 80 million dollars on PR for NaRRA. Oh yes anything but helping to restore hurricane victims.

This is despicable and desperate!
As a country, we always respect the will of the people, even when we disagree with the process.
Using the courts to cling to the mayorship despite having a minority caucus reeks of desperation and a willingness to hold on to power at any cost!
The Supreme Court has granted an injunction barring the Clarendon Municipal Corporation from holding a vote of no confidence against May Pen Mayor Joel Williams and his deputy, Clivelee Mundle at today’s a special meeting. #GLNRToday

We need to know who are the persons/companies getting these unsolicited contracts. One person getting multiple contracts one day. Seems like taxpayer's money is been used as a get rich scheme by the JLP government.

Wha JFJ fi march and protest?
Who dem a protest to?
Is a simple thing.
Police fi kill who shoot at them, and don’t kill who don’t shoot (or otherwise attack) them.
Criminals exist outside the law, that’s why we empower the police.

It's become painfully clear that structuring our whole society around maximising profit instead of the wellbeing of people and planet was a REALLY terrible idea.

The IC special report clearly indicates this JLP government is using taxpayers money as a feeding trough.
IC should present a list of the owners of snouts in the trough.

Words reaching me this evening from the Finance ministry are that the government has gone into a borrowing arrangement with the @IMFNews again. @fayvalwilliams told the nation that they were looking 30billion but end up borrowing $50billion. This is more debt burden on the taxpayer's. We got US$150M in hurricane insurance and give it to a private company and now our people are sucking salt through a wooden spoon.

Hugh Shearer and the JLP banned Walter Rodney, they went on to ban books that has the word black in their titles. Thats how much they were against the black power movement. They even banned this book.
58 years ago today, on 15 Oct 1968, Government of #Jamaica banned Walter Rodney from returning to the island. A Guyanese lecturer at UWI Mona, he had been out of the country attending a Black Power conference in Canada. #Jamaican security forces, local conservatives, Jamaica’s Western allies feared a “convinced Communist with pro-Castro ideals”. #Caribbean

Corrupt systems love big projects because big projects hide big kickbacks while drains, culverts, and farm roads starve. NaRRA’s wish list is airports, ports, and office campuses. Speed is the oldest excuse. Cutting corners never made a government faster, only more expensive. Information arrives only under pressure: the CEO’s J$40 million salary, plus a 25 per cent gratuity, surfaced through an Access to Information request. The CEO’s job was advertised in January 2026, two months before Parliament saw the bill. The decision came first. The law was paperwork.

NaRRA is just now advertising for top management jobs. Why arent most of these seconded from the already bloated GOJ? Note no salary included in the ad.

If our interest is protected, why is this a secret ? Why should we believe this from government? Show us the deal. We have a right to know. Jamaica 🇯🇲 does not belong to the Jlp . @kaminajsmith
