Well, it feels like X is back so let me re-introduce myself: • Founder of icepop, a performance marketing + design agency in LA. Meta, Google, and Shopify partner working with brands like Madhappy, Citizen, Open, and FabFitFun • Started it in spring 2020, in the middle of the pandemic. • Before that: PM of growth at Tinder, and built + sold a WordPress plugin company • We run paid social + search across ecom, legal, medical, and tech. Last year we won a Gold Stevie for Marketing Campaign of the Year • Recent favorite work: leading full rebrands - new identity, photo + video shoots, colors, fonts - then rolling it through ads, social, and email. Watching a brand go from forgettable to one people actually want to be associated with never gets old • Studied CS + Business at USC. Now I guest lecture at Marshall on product, growth, and entrepreneurship • Most meaningful work: helping nonprofits on both icepop time and my own - getting them the same digital playbook the big brands pay for, so they can scale their missions, not just their budgets • I'll be posting here more about the wins we're seeing inside our accounts - real data, no recycled guru takes If you're building a brand or buying media, stick around.

Imagine a world where despite all of the evidence suggesting that @AbdulElSayed is a seditious enemy of the foundational principles of the United States, Americans will still vote for him because they hate Republicans. It is astounding.

"Accusation. Expansion. Punishment." @DanSenor's breakdown of the cycle Jewish people face every few decades, and where we are in it right now, is the clearest I've heard. Must listen. Thank you for your clarity, @dansenor . podcasts.apple.com/us/podcas…

Michigan is about to hand classified intel to a man who called Israel as evil as Hamas and whose mother worked for a charity funding Hamas. The state is 3% Arab. This isn't a bloc vote. It's a choice. What is going on here?

7 years ago at Verishop, I mapped out a feature I was convinced would change ecommerce: see something in social content, tap once, buy it or the closest match. Instagram just rolled it out. Dozens of startups tried to build this. The tech was never the hard part. The hard part was having the content, the users, and the products. IG has all three: billions of users, endless content, a social graph on top, and millions of products already sitting in the catalogs advertisers upload to Meta's Commerce Manager. Every Reel is now a storefront. And it's already an ad unit. Brands should be paying attention.

Update: RFK Jr. just deleted the post. Qatar clearly made some angry phone calls
Beast of a statement from RFK Jr., who calls out the Gaza GenoLIE for what it is: a Qatari-funded propaganda campaign designed to foment Jew hatred and convince gullible Westerners to repeat Islamist lies

Three years since October 7th. Jewish votes helped elect Mamdani. Now El-Sayed is rising with Obama in his corner. We say never again, then American Jews vote like they forgot. Remembering isn't a post. It's who you stand behind. These people hate us. Anti-Zionism is antisemitism. Wake up.
This day is profoundly painful for so many New Yorkers. It marks three years since the horrific war crimes of October 7. On that day, Hamas killed more than 1,100 Israelis and abducted 251 others. We grieve alongside our many friends and neighbors who still carry that unthinkable loss. The suffering did not begin nor end that day. It instead continued through the Israeli government’s devastating, ongoing genocide in Gaza, in which it has killed more than 74,000 Palestinians—including more than 21,000 children. Even since the so-called ceasefire, more than 1,400 Palestinians have been killed. That suffering has intensified with every Israeli bomb dropped on ambulances waiting outside hospitals, every drone strike targeting a residential building or journalist, and every shipment of food aid turned away at a border crossing. Many New Yorkers are reckoning with this unbearable grief, and we mourn alongside them – all while knowing that our tax dollars fund these war crimes. Three years later, we must refuse to accept a world in which occupation and apartheid continue, where war crimes are met with impunity, and our federal government continues its complicity with every arms shipment. To honor the dead, we must fight for a world in which every person can live with freedom, safety, and dignity.

As we remember the horror and evil savagery of October 7th, let's remember too that Jewish people in California TODAY are living in fear of harassment, persecution and violence because pathetic politicians won't stand up to anti-Jewish hate. As governor, I will.

Three years ago today: 1,200 murdered. 251 taken hostage. The deadliest day for Jews since the Holocaust. Since then, antisemitism hasn't returned. It's exploded. Attacked in the streets. Hunted on campuses. Murdered from Washington to Sydney. For one reason: being Jewish. October 7th didn't create this hatred, it revealed it. I'm raising my daughters to be proud Jews. Loud. Visible. Unapologetic. We will not hide 💙

More people need to learn how to say “fuck you” to the commie mobs and never apologize. Apologies don’t help. That’s just blood in the water to a commie. They don’t want contrition. They want power over you. Apologizing only gives them power.

Karen Bass and Eric Garcetti don't get enough heat for what they've done to LA. This was one of the great American cities and they ran it into the ground - homelessness, production fleeing, basic services falling apart - and somehow both get treated like they're above real accountability. @ericgarcetti @KarenBassLA
I will continue to engage with Paramount, Attorney General Bonta, and entertainment leaders to keep jobs in LA. This industry was built here. Its workers are here. I’m going to fight like hell to keep it here.
