Choosing the mages side every time knowing it was going to blow up in my face will never not be funny.

He forgets the rest of the modern day gaming environment.
I feel like Bioware's demise is the moment that the shift in culture over the past two years really set in for the woke left. It's easy to deny it when there's just some layoffs, some minor studios closing, flops in releases. Smaller or less veteran studios close all the time. Layoffs occur. Flops happens.
Bioware was both an industry juggernaut in it's heyday and the single biggest flagship of their ideology in the gaming industry. Bioware's shutdown isn't just a studio being shut down, or even a veteran one. It's a statement of existential inevitability to them. Like being given a terminal diagnosis with all the confusion, anger, sadness, and dread that comes with it.
Chuds won. They can't deny it now. It's over and they can't change the outcome. All they can do is wait for the end.
We are a dumb society.
Dragon Age Origins - Leliana and then impregnate Morrigan and then marry the blonde chick to end as king
Mass Effect - Asley Williams (even though she mid)
Mass Effect 2 - Miranda Lawson
Mass Effect 3 - Miranda Lawson and Diana Allers
After that, I stopped playing Bioware games because the rest of the games only offered ugly ass options
It’s not your hobby. You don’t own it.
Engaging with the chuds on this day of mourning & remembrance for a game company I have deep admiration for has been stimulating.

I'm not even lying. Kaidan Alenko and Steve Cortez being romance options for a male Shepard in Mass Effect 3 were so ridiculously important for me accepting that I like men. I was in incredibly deep denial and I do not know how much longer that would be persisted. It mattered to-
