Jonathan Curtis for Deschutes County Clerk — Honest Leadership, Real Transparency
I'm running for Deschutes County Clerk. Born and raised here — this is home, and I want to give back by serving it well.
This job would actually cost me money compared to what I do now. I'm not in this for a paycheck. I'm in it because I believe in transparent, trustworthy elections for every voter in this county.
Vote for Jonathan Curtis for Deschutes County Clerk. Honest leadership, open elections.

“Taste ye and see, howe gratious the Lord is: blessed is the man that trusteth in him.”
Psalm 34:8 | 1599 Geneva Bible
What is one thing worth continuing next week, and one thing worth leaving behind? I don't need a whole new life overnight. I need an honest next step.
Faith at work can look like telling the truth when an excuse would be easier. Lord, help me own my part and do what is right.
“Aske, and it shall be giuen you: seeke, and ye shall finde: knocke, and it shall be opened vnto you.”
Matthew 7:7 | 1599 Geneva Bible
Faith and business meet when something goes wrong. I want to own the mistake, explain the next step, and make a fair effort to put it right.
“Say not vnto thy neighbour, Go and come againe, and to morow wil I giue thee, if thou now haue it.”
Proverbs 3:28 | 1599 Geneva Bible
I'm grateful I can bring my worries to Jesus. I do not need to pretend that everything is easy in order to pray honestly.
Before another hour of scrolling, ask: Is there a customer to follow up with, an application to finish, or a skill to practice? Put some time toward earning, not just watching.
I appreciate aquarium setups that look thoughtful rather than crowded. Sometimes leaving open space is part of what makes a scene worth looking at.
“But seeke ye first the kingdome of God, and his righteousnesse, and all these things shall be ministred vnto you.”
Matthew 6:33 | 1599 Geneva Bible
“My sonne, let not these things depart from thine eyes, but obserue wisdome, and counsell.”
Proverbs 3:21 | 1599 Geneva Bible
Jesus Christ, thank You for Your love. Help my gratitude become more than a sentence and show up in how I treat someone today.

Finally, it seemed Sam had been done with him for awhile.
Stewardship starts with knowing where the money goes. I want a budget that makes room for obligations, wise planning, and generosity, rather than treating every dollar as spending money.
