Yes Sainsbury's! The attendant said "Do you wish to check out your own items?" I said "No..,,because I don't work here". Then, I get to see the message "Unexpected item in the bagging area: call attendant" each time I try to scan something. This is NOT faster!!!😠

And finally.... A tripych of illustrations by Arthur Rackham. The subject matter is linked by a single theme. Your challenge (and I hope this is easy) is "what is the link?"

It's been an interesting morning. I note that they've introduced a parking place in town for people who do a lot of twerking.🧐

I just ust saw the local cats go into my office, steal a pencil, protractor, dividers, ruler and a piece of graph paper. I think they must be plotting something.🤔

Hi everyone, Today's #quote comes from Italian polymath of the High Renaissance (and possibly, ninja turtle), Leonardo di ser Piero da Vinci. There is some truth in the notion that, when you understand enough, everything is connected. It's one of the joys of learning.

A selection on Edwardian Tea Gowns, which were worn when having guests to afternoon tea, or when in and about the house (a bit like our lounge wear, but so much more elegant!) They were worn without a heavy boned corset, so would be worn in the presence of family and friends only 1905-1909 #EdwardianFashion #fashionhistory

Who was Vasco da Gama? - Portuguese mariner, explorer & nobleman. - At school, we were taught that he discovered the first sea route between Europe and India (around the Cape of Good Hope) - Recently, acts of inhumanity on his 2nd voyage have made him a more contentious figure.

I sometimes wonder what did my grandparents did for entertainment without TV or internet. I will ask my mom...... and her 17 siblings. (We put my grandma on a pedestal. We had to, to keep her away from grandpa!)

Hi everyone. Today's #quote is an unreferenced one. We have no idea who said it first. It is sometimes misattributed to Maya Angelou, who wrote “Forgive yourself for not knowing what you didn’t know before you learned it” in her book "Wouldn't Take Nothing for My Journey Now".
