In 2020, lockdowns crushed in-person cash businesses in Trinidad so I built a free WiPay checkout for shopify and invited @AndelHusbands to design store templates. My original work, the plugin implementation, is now being used for profit by @AndelHusbands (Thread ↓)

Businesses in regions like ours shouldn't have to incorporate in the US just to access global banking infrastructure. 'Sendana For Business' is almost here. Virtual US bank accounts, USDC wallets and spend cards...all under your company's name. Coming very soon.

People think that you can't get real work done on $29 a month because too many people are running around completely WASTING tokens and haven't given any thoughts on how to be efficient.

a lot of hysteria atm about tech jobs. my take on who goes when.
juniors are already going. tech grad hiring at big uk employers fell 46% in the latest figures, and they're forecasting another 53% drop.
i think senior engineers in their 40s and 50s are next. management is safer. architects and infra engineers too, anyone running at scale still needs people who understand how the whole system holds together.
and yes, i'm a product engineer so i'm talking my book, but if you know the whole thing E2E and can explain it to product, you've got longer than most.
