Its been 3 years to the day since the traps last opened at Wimbledon Greyhound Stadium. My dad used to shout this at every meeting before the last race...This is a video of him doing it for the very last time on March 25th 2017

“Prime Minister @andyburnham thinks it’s cool to sit in a pub and drink alcohol.
“But he doesn’t want you to gamble. And he doesn’t seem to care about the illegal sites people have turned to in order to wager. Why?
“Gambling harm is conservatively estimated to cost the UK economy each year between £1billion and £1.7billion. Of course, much of that has nothing to do with horse racing.
“Alcohol harm is in the region of £27billion. But @andyburnham hasn’t said he’ll ban alcohol, has he? The hypocrisy is incredible.
“Politicians don’t make logical decisions. They make political decisions which are all about being popular and getting re-elected. It is simply a calculation – nothing more and nothing less.”

I know Palladium has a stud career awaiting but it seems unbelievable that a horse purchased for £1.2m has his first run subsequently in a race worth a measly 4k to the winner. If he loses, surely this will that affect his stud value?
