On the 60th anniversary, we remember the 116 children and 28 adults who tragically lost their lives in the Aberfan disaster.
Cofiwch Aberfan 🖤
This is pathetic and brilliant at the same time 😂😂😂

Humphrey Ker will go down in history as a man who with positive action transformed a football club, a town and with it people's lives. A thoroughly nice chap and good person who deserves every plaudit possible. Thank you for everything ❤️
Wrexham AFC confirm that Humphrey Ker is to step down from the board of Wrexham AFC and as a trustee of the Wrexham AFC Foundation after a highly successful five-year long association with the Club.

He arrived to a room of bemused player faces and plenty of doubt.
He leaves as a non-playing #WxmAFC legend.
The work Humphrey Ker has done for the club cannot be understated. After all, he's the EXACT reason the takeover happened in the first place.
And he put his own family life and career path on hold to become the conduit between Rob and Ryan and the club & fans.
He went on every podcast & TV/radio show going to talk up the owners and the club, never once taking any credit himself.
He defended the honour of the club and owners and ensured everyone knew this was a serious (ad)venture and not a vanity project.
An honourable man of distinction, humility and infectious enthusiasm, Humphrey became one of us in an instant. He got it. He got us.
So, thank you for everything @thehumphreyker . You will be sorely missed by everyone.

Today, we mark the 92nd anniversary of the Gresford Colliery disaster.
We remember the 266 men and boys who tragically lost their lives that day.
Cofiwch Gresffordd.
We’ve been away at sold out crowds at Cardiff and Swansea, away at both Millwall and West Ham. Beaten Southampton at home. It’s been a tough start, we’ve come out fighting. We will kick on after the international break. @Wrexham_AFC @fearlessidzine @RobRyanRed

🗣️ "It wasn't a day for us to open up too much. If you do that against Southampton, they have the players to punish you. Our unit, our distances, and the amount of interceptions we made was exactly what we wanted."

I witnessed the most impeccably observed minutes silence at any football match I’ve been at. Well done Wrexham and Saints fans honouring those killed in the mining disaster 92 years ago

As of 5pm tonight 3,636 remain for sale for West Ham v Wrexham Championship game suggesting 58,863 tickets have been sold so far.
Wrexham sold out their away allocation of 2,110 tickets plus 19 wheelchair places.
The official attendance is likely to pass 60,000 once ticket exchange is factored in.
Friday’s trip to West Ham, the first league meeting between the two clubs in a little over 45 years, seems certain to set a new record attendance for a match involving the Welsh side.
The previous best being the 54,096 crowd that packed into Liverpool’s Anfield for an FA Cup fourth-round tie in 1970.

Thought we were excellent without the ball, loved our organisation, work rate and tenacity to win the ball back. Made it a difficult night for a usually free flowing Swansea team. 0-0 fair result, and a good point on the road. Onto Burnley on Tuesday. @Wrexham_AFC #WxmAFC
