Tennessee GOP making threats to cut off state funds to Memphis if they return ousted Rep Pearson to Nashville is par for the course with the GOP. They have always tried to bully Memphis. Once telling FedEx they were going to start charging a new tax on jet fuel. FedEx said fine. We will just buy our fuel where we fly instead of in Tennessee. They backed down really fast.
