⁦@NHSBT⁩ many have done much more than me BUT I’m rather chuffed to have made my 50th donation today. Thanks to the wonderful nurses at the HSBC sports ground, all the other donors and everyone who makes the system work.

Oh, for God’s sake. Dubai is building a fifth. Want UK to be successful? GAFMO. Bunch of clowns. BTW get the Lower Thames Crossing moving while you’re at it. Burnham’s opposition to Heathrow expansion puts third runway in doubt ft.com/content/0206443e-a4ca… via @ft

#RishiSunak the dumb thing about this is that he misses a chance to be seen with other world leaders. Taken with knighthoods for US tech leaders makes you wonder if he’s given up. Preparing for life after 4 July.

It is turning out exactly as anticipated by those who thought about it a bit
Jim Ratcliffe, "Brexit sort of unfortunately didn't umm.. It didn't turn out as people anticipated" "It was about immigration.. People fed up with the influx.. A small island like the UK can't cope with vast numbers of people.. It overburdens the NHS, traffic, the police" "The country is designed for 55 or 60 million people, now we've got 70 million and all the services break down" Man who left the UK to be an immigrant in Monaco to avoid UK tax, is complaining about immigrants coming to the UK who are paying UK taxes 🤷‍♂️ By moving to Monaco Ratcliffe avoided £4 billion in tax. So I put it to you, the reason services are underfunded is not because of immigrants who come to the UK and pay their fair share of tax. It's because of people like Ratcliffe who avoid paying their share of UK tax and so starve public services. And Brexit turned out exactly how many predicted, and arguably it's worse than many predicted. Warnings were dismissed as project fear, and of course people like Ratcliffe won't be impacted by the extend of Brexit. When you're worth over £12 billion, a 50% increase in your food shopping bill isn't even noticable

I haven’t ever asked for friends to retweet anything, but this so right it deserves the widest audience. Want to respond, sports minister? ⁦@StuartAndrew⁩ West turns a blind eye as Russia wiggles its way back into Olympics. thetimes.co.uk/article/e80ee…

How does @Starbucks get away with it?I bought a flat white; outrageous price and it was dreadful. Barely a taste of coffee, basically warm milk with froth. Changed for a double espresso by embarrassed employee. “ It’s how we are told to make it.”

Western approach to Ukraine is delusional thetimes.co.uk/article/weste… A chilling and realistic article. Europe has become soft in so many ways. Now it needs to step up to its rhetoric. That’s going to be painful but better than being under Russian control.

#PartygateLies #PrivilegesCommitteeReport @Jacob_Rees_Mogg #MichaelFabricant Worth noticing that all the defenders of Bojo want to talk about is process. Won’t engage with the report because it is unarguable in its conclusions.

#broadcastinghouse @BBCPolitics Guto Hari talking utter bilge about standard committee. It reports and recommends. The House decides. Then if a by- election happens it is for the electorate.

Oh dear. He needs help.
Matt Hancock gave a speech at a Bright Blue event last night, on how to get young people connected to the Conservative Party. He said he rarely wears a suit or tie as he’s ‘a normal person now’ which helps him to better connect to people he represents. A few things stood out🧵⬇️

Anyone who thinks the Hallett fight to get full access to information is a Westminster bubble story should listen to Phillipa on #bbcaq @BBCPolitics. Powerful and moving beyond words. Sensitively handled by Anita Anand.
