I'll be doing some soccer coverage during international windows moving forward. I made @JonathanClinkFC for when I do futbol coverage, since not all football fans are futbol fans. I'll follow back anyone who follows it during WC. independentscouting.com/the-…

The CFL made a tremendous accomplishment this week, signing its highest-paying media deal yet. Huge news helping make more teams reach profitability, will increase player pay. I'm really happy to see this increase in financial sustainability. Many fans are upset about the added subscription paywall for Saturday night games. This response isn't just about subscription fees, but the combination of the subscription fees with other difficult pills they've had to swallow recently. Some CFL fans are feeling increasingly taken for granted.

Attendance is now at an all-time low in the returning UFL markets this season. Three relocations last offseason creates caution for fans to not get too attached to their team. Add in the 2nd full roster redraft in 3 seasons, broken promise to fans, veteran blacklisting, centralized roster control, and a lopsided Luis Perez trade that calls into question the seriousness of the league. The fix is simple: restore team autonomy, stop treating vets like liabilities, end the manufactured churn, and let the product sell itself.

CFL All-November 1st and 2nd Teams. Highlighting 50 players who stood out in their respective position groups over the CFL postseason.

I've seen comments of some Edmonton Elks fans wanting the name reversed to Eskimos which many would not like. After much thought I have a bipartisan solution everyone can get behind. Merge the 2 names. No need to thank or pay me for this breakthrough. #CFL
