Blimey... any chance we can challenge "lovingly restored" and "sadly neglected"? I see equal examples of "sadly restored" and "lovingly neglected". Please :=)

I found this a striking exhibit in the Jewish museum in Amsterdam, an unused length of fabric printed with yellow stars. Could each one somehow represent someone who escaped? Or were there simply no Jews left for these to get pinned to.

We were delighted to share the story of our new headquarters with @JaneAudas! Jane's wonderful article, which she wrote after interviewing our Chair, @nye_james, brings home how much we all love archives - and the stories they can tell 🥰
I wrote about the things the Antiquarian Horological Society @thestoryoftime put on their new @Vitsoe shelves. For the love of archives: vitsoe.com/gb/voice/loveofar…

How many times have I heard ‘amazing experience’, ‘work with amazing collections in amazing places...’ in lieu of a viable salary. Unless you have a private income etc it doesn’t work. It’s a form of exclusion. Sorry.
Last call for an amazing experience in #horology and #conservation @britishmuseum : bmrecruit.ciphr-irecruit.com… A great opportunity to learn and work on one of the greatest horological collection.
