After 6 years of postdoc-ing with us @idiv, the Synthesis group says goodbye to @re_sprout. Emma had such an incredible influence on us all, scientifically and personally. We will miss her, but wish her well and onto bigger and better things @UPEI !

Yes, agreed! But there has been a huge loss of the art of ‘falsifiable’ hypotheses. Much of what I see nowadays is more like ‘I think’ this will happen, rather than viable/falsifiable hypotheses. Thinking of writing some sort of editorial to ‘yell at the clouds’ – at Leipzig, Germany
