flight attendant, tells us our route and what to expect on our flight, and finally gives a shoutout to his much younger first officer. I look around and everyone’s smiling. All flights should start like this. The kind of experience that’ll make me choose Delta next time. A+

New data shows that very few cyclists and pedestrians are using Queen Elizabeth Driveway when it's closed to cars. Watch this video as a great example. When I recorded it yesterday afternoon, not a single pedestrian or cyclist passed me for the entire two and a half minutes. Lorsque je l'ai enregistrée hier après-midi, pas un seul piéton ou cycliste ne m'a dépassé pendant les deux minutes et demie.

DC friends, fwiw: the customary Canadian greeting when you wake up to a temperature drop like this is just an absolutely joyous “COLD ENOUGH FOR YA?!”, typically shouted a bit maniacally at someone you don’t even know.

Trying to dunk on bike lanes is silly. Find me one person who's visited Amsterdam and says "too many bikes." More active transportation makes more vibrant, livable cities. It's also a false wedge issue for drivers. Better bike lanes makes driving safer. I'm voting @cmckenney

This is a critical election for Ottawa - and you have a clear choice. To me, it’s about priorities. There’s an expensive path, that spends a quarter of a billion dollars on bike lanes and more free transit.

This thief broke into my backyard and stole my bike tonight. It’s not worth any money, but I built it by hand 10 years ago from recycled parts and it means a lot to me. #ottbike if anyone sees it or has any suggestions on where to look, please reach out!
