I’m not sorry my team is better than yours. I’m not sorry we won more games. I’m not sorry you don’t like who we beat or how we beat em. I do not care that you don’t think my QB is better than (fill in the blank). My team is playing in the Super Bowl and yours isn’t, cry about it

One day yall tell me he was only good because he paid players but now he made millions and never paid players. Please make up your minds
This guy made $150 million off the back of unpaid labor and now spends his time lobbying against players getting paid what they’re worth. Cannot imagine being that morally bankrupt.

Oh now it’s unpaid labor?
But I thought Saban was cheating and paying all his players and that’s why he was so good?

Where is Drake supposed to go and why is everyone running a 5 yard route on 2nd and 9

We can agree Drake maye isnt playing good right now without crowning him as Mac jones 2.0 this fanbase is fucking insufferable
this has been and still is an incredibly lazy take. go watch the throws and plays he was making, it wasn’t about the schedule. something is different in his game rn
“Drake Maye’s season last year was such an incredible coincidental fluke that will never happen again. The fact that he played 11 backup quarterbacks last year, they had the easiest schedule on paper… and it created this illusion that Drake Maye was really good and the Patriots were next up and it was never true” -Brandon Walker

If you’re giving up on Drake Maye already, that doesn’t make sense to me.
If you’re defending everything he’s doing just because he’s Drake Maye, that doesn’t make sense either.
He’s playing awful football right now. The decision-making and turnovers are legitimately concerning.
He’s also 24 years old and absolutely capable of turning this around.
Both things can be true.

📝 My extended thoughts on Drake and the unfortunate start to the 2026 season.
Drake Maye has been bad this season.
Even as one of his biggest supporters, I can't deny it. He looks like a completely different QB. I wish I had an explanation, but I don't.
We should be able to acknowledge that while also appreciating just how good he was last season, and understanding that you don't go from 100 to 0 overnight.
Last year, as a 23-year-old, he put together some of the most prolific quarterbacking we've ever seen from a sophomore (both statistically and on film). And he wasn't a Shanahan puppet elevated by a friendly system. He was routinely making some of the most difficult throws you can possibly make on a football field. We’re talking about someone who somehow led the league in both completion percentage and yards per attempt while posting the second-highest aDOT.
And don't let anyone use the word "schedule" to discredit that. I watched Drake go 13/14 for 184 yards in the second half and lead a game-winning drive on the road against the defense that allowed the FEWEST passing yards in 2025. I watched him post the second-highest success rate in 49 games against any Jim Schwartz defense that was also allowing the second-fewest passing yards in 2025. I watched him throw for 261 yards and 3 video-game TDs against the defense that allowed the fifth-fewest passing yards in 2025.
So yes, Drake has been outright bad in 2026, and something needs to change. But he's already reached heights at 23 that very few QBs reach in their entire careers. So the next time you say he's "not the guy" or call for Tommy DeVito, take a step back and think about what you're saying.
Drake Maye is the guy. Whether he looks like it next week, next month, or this year, is TBD. But I promise you this: he is the guy. I believe that as much as I ever have.

The problem with discourse around the Patriots is I can’t say how horrendous Josh McDaniels is without sounding like I’m not putting any blame on Maye
obviously a bad throw by Drake, no getting away from that but god damn can we have a WR at least TRY and work back to the ball? holy shit man

Not entertaining Drake bashing. F game at all levels.
Talent doesn’t disappear. Drake will learn from this.
Can’t be a fan of the team only in the good moments.
We’re on to Buffalo.
