Ladies and Gentlemen, if I could offer you only one tip then STAR and SAO application technique would be it. The long term benefits have been proved by scientists whereas the rest of my Twitter advice has no basis more reliable than my own experience bit.ly/2Mi8GDi

Good to hear the conversation with @RebeccaLeek_ @Suffolk_PHA on @LBC with @mattfrei talking about @Ofsted inspections and reflecting on the tragic situation and circumstance. #RuthPerry #Ofsted #Headteacher

If you are going to listen to one thing today, listen to this intensive care doctor talk about his experience and our decisions and responsibilities during this pandemic. He asks why should we carry on treating Covid patients if people won't wear masks? lbc.co.uk/news/intensive-car…

'Doom scrolling' is very apt @dominiccampbell and not only for the cacophony of events that are playing out in front of us, but also consequently the algorithmic rabbit hole of a feed you seem have found for yourself.

A very interesting thread, so thank you @ProfAishaAhmad and also to @mark_hardingham for the recommendation. It was short, but very poignant to read and consider; about the 6 month wall and the need for mental or figurative 'shore leave' to ride the next 4 to 6 weeks out.
The 6 month mark in any sustained crisis is always difficult. We have all adjusted to this "new normal", but might now feel like we're running out of steam. Yet, at best, we are only 1/3 the way through this marathon. How can we keep going? THREAD /x

This shows us how far we have to go as a society, given I would have expected these rights to have already been clearly recognised. Today we take another step towards creating a fairer society for all and may all the tomorrow's after this be better for everyone.

Great tweet @SCCPublicHealth for #ThursdayThoughts on our journey as individuals through this all, be that #Life and/ or #COVID19
Don’t compare your feelings and situation to everyone else. Think of lockdown as a stormy sea. We are all in a boat but not the same boat. Some people are in a yacht or a cruise ship and adjusting fine. Some may be on a homemade raft. crowd.in/3Q5CFS @SuffolkMind
Echoing a great tweet from @ThisisDavina, expressing thanks and recognising what teenagers have missed out on as a consequence of this pandemic and that the #alevels2020 U-turn, goes some way in not disadvantaging them any further. #StickWithItSuffolk #SuffolkSaysThanks
Just want to say well done to our teenagers. You sacrificed a lot for us oldies to stay safe. You stayed in for months, missed out on 16,18 parties, proms, festivals, and saying goodbye to your school. Thank you .I’m hoping this u turn will have a positive impact for many of you
