TRY THIS if you really want to be like Jesus:
Stay when everyone else leaves. Forgive, even when it’s undeserved. Offer grace when everyone else is tossing accusations.
Love, even when they don’t.
Because that’s who Jesus really was. And it’s who He still is!
If you want to be like Jesus, you must realize “don’t cross oceans for people who wouldn’t cross a puddle for you” is a terrible mindset.
Cross all the oceans! What better way to live like Jesus than to love people well who might never love you back.
I believe church services are meant for praising God. But so are rush hour car rides, showers, coffee shops, the gym, conversations with friends, chats with strangers, and so much more!
Don’t relegate faith to a building because we will never change the world by only just being with the church, we must also be the church.

Now if Jesus said that, the Calvinist doctrine of predestination would be vindicated.
But he didn’t. We cannot even imagine Jesus saying it.
