This idea that Cubs fans should cheer for the White Sox seems disingenuous and forced.
If you want to, by all means, cheer for them. But this push to unite behind one baseball team kinda seems silly, and my guess is White Sox fans don’t want performative Cubs fans hopping on.
I’m a cubs fan. Lots of friends are white Sox fans. I’m happy for them. I’m jealous of them. I don’t loathe the Sox really. I just don’t want to pretend like I’m super pumped about it.
