A big Skill library shouldn’t make an agent harder to steer. VibeSkills is a general-purpose Skill for AI agents that routes local Skills and organizes multi-step harness workflows. It helps you take a task from defined requirements to a checked delivery by selecting relevant installed Skills, assigning work, and recording acceptance checks. Key features: • Requirement approval – confirms the goal, constraints, available material, and expected delivery before work begins • L/XL planning – recommends a workflow level based on scope, dependencies, and opportunities for parallel work • Local Skill selection – scans configured Skill folders and shortlists the capabilities that fit each task part • Recorded execution – logs completed, failed, and blocked work so a later session can continue • Delivery checks – compares the actual result with planned items and blocks acceptance when required work is incomplete It’s open-source (Apache License 2.0). Congratulations to the @bindwell_ai team on launching Atomwell, their foundation model for predicting experimental outcomes in molecular discovery. Excellent virtuous loop: better extraction leads to better training data, which in teurn support better predictions about future experiments. Excited to see what the team discover next, and to support them on this ambitious journey!
1) Today we're announcing Atomwell, our state-of-the-art foundation model for predicting experimental outcomes, alongside scaling laws for molecular discovery. We trained models from 800M to 9B parameters on ~80M experimental measurements, and found clean scaling laws in both model size and data.

Why is exit planning important for VC backed companies?? Because only about one-third of them will return cash and have a shot at making the founders & investors money. Only one-third!! And I'd guess that only 10-15% of all VC-backed businesses yield good or great outcomes for founders & investors! After 14 years in VC, I believe all founders should have an exit plan.

A financial firm doing biological research wasn't on my cards, but then we're in 2026! Expect complete blurring of boundaries going forward. Everything will unbundle - organizations, functions, roles, identity.
What is AI really capable of in bio? To separate hype from reality, we spent 3 months working firsthand with @AnthropicAI's internal research model to see if it could create an experimental scorpion antivenom. Introducing Citrini Therapeutics. citriniresearch.com/p/citrin…

What happens to proptech startups when their customers can build similar software themselves? @fifthwallvc's @BrendanFWallace sees a growing opportunity in startups that use AI to own and operate real estate. I spoke with him about his firm's shifting investment thesis, which software businesses he believes remain defensible, and the housing problems still waiting to be solved. If $500K gets the company where it needs to go, there is no prize for raising $5M. Every extra dollar comes with dilution, expectations, and less control over what happens next. Raise enough to reach the next meaningful milestone. More capital doesn’t automatically create a better company. ✨

Charlie Songhurst on why "boring and complex" companies may offer the best returns
My second conversation with Christina Cacioppo (@christinacaci), Vanta's cofounder and CEO. Charlie Songhurst says the best returns come from companies that are highly boring and highly complex, because fewer founders want to build them. Vanta is one of those companies. When we first talked five years ago, Christina told me about building the first version of Vanta in Excel. Since then she has turned it into the category leader in security compliance. Now she is rebuilding it around AI. We discuss: - Why great software businesses got cheap - Why Vanta eats the cost of AI instead of marking it up - Why comp for top people is up 10X in five years - What is over/under hyped in AI - How AI attackers are changing security - Vanta marketing + billboards - Building trust in an era of low trust Enjoy! this is one hell of a run! we worked with Yahia on context dev before it was called context dev, one off project for $1200 which turned into a signifiant engagement (website, marketing, product design) - he even refereed us to so many great YC founders now he raised fking $9M! so pumped and happy for you @mynameisyahia, a great founder and an amazing friend!
We raised $9M to give your agents the internet. Led by @generalcatalyst, with @orangecollectv and Robinhood Ventures. Search, scrape, crawl, monitor with one API trusted by 800+ customers. We’re making it ridiculously easy to build with web data.

Delta, Chase and Amazon are blocking AI agents. The war on agents has begun, and here’s how it probably plays out: Stage 1: Companies block agents because agents skip the ads and upsells. Stage 2: Agents learn to act like humans, and it becomes an arms race. Stage 3: The market splits. Companies that make money on sales let agents in, companies that make money on data charge for access, and the giants build their own agents. Stage 4: A trusted middle layer for agent identity and payments becomes the standard way in. Stage 5: Companies that welcome agents start winning customers from the ones that block them. Stage 6: The agent blockers come back and let agents in on their own terms. Stage 7: Everyone starts competing for agents with better prices, faster checkout and SEO built for agents. Stage 8: The ads come back, and companies pay to be your agent’s first recommendation. Stage 9: The agent war ends, and selling to agents becomes as normal as having a website.
notice.. > Delta is blocking AI agents from booking flights > JPMorgan Chase and Charles Schwab block agents from accessing accounts > Yelp requires paid data licensing for agents > Amazon has blocked Grok bot and other shopping agents. the internet is starting to block AI agents that were supposed to do everything for us

Building an autonomous agent gets messy when its identity, memory, and workflow live in different places. gptme-agent-template is a GitHub workspace template for builders creating a gptme-based agent with a persistent, version-controlled home. It helps you create a named agent workspace faster by using the `gptme-agent` CLI to clone and customize the template, then loading its context through `gptme.toml`. Key features: • Fast setup path – `gptme-agent create` creates and customizes a new agent workspace • Workspace health check – `gptme-agent doctor` checks core files, configuration, directories, tools, and submodules • Durable agent state – identity, memory, tasks, lessons, journal, workflow, and audit history live in the repository • Guided first task – a walkthrough includes a failing pytest task and commands to have the agent fix it • Scheduled operation – documented systemd and launchd commands support running the agent on a schedule Free public GitHub repo.
