The irony should not be lost that as I watch the Building Electrification workshop at California Air Resources Board my power went out due to a bit of rain and wind in the hills. #gridresiliency
Congratulations to @sscliff moving on to NTSA in the Biden Administration. With that move, ALL for California Air Resources Board Deputy Executive Officer Positions have/will turn over since last month. #change

Today, we take our first completely carbon-neutral flight using biofuels and carbon offsets. A milestone we are proud of as we work to cut carbon emissions in half by 2050.

Agreed. #LCFS programs are complex and require lots of hours to implement.

Last Post of 2018, and what a busy year it was! @AirResources amended/adopted 18 regulatory packages this year. 18! In 2017 that number was only 2. With a new Administration coming into town next month, things should be slower but #capandtrade will be up…lnkd.in/gWrYcQp

Today is the 10th Anniversary #AB32 #ScopingPlan, a remarkable document that brought #CA the #LCFS and #CapandTrade. The #RPS went from 20 to 60%. Time flies. #climate leadership was the goal, now its policies are woven into CA gov't and its budget.

In a stark contrast yesterday the #trump administration talked about no #ZEV subsidies and a #CA lawmaker introduced a bill to completely electrify the transportation system. lnkd.in/d4wMums lnkd.in/d6dJFJv

Just posted by @AirResources is the 2019 #capandtrade price of #carbon, helped by a robust CPI of 2.52% is (drumroll please...) $15.62/ton. If all are allowances are sold, that is an economy-wide cost/investment of almost $4.6 Billion for next year.

At almost 100 slides, Weds #LCFS workshop @AirResources will show just how complicated that program has become. In terms of complexity, it is right up there with #capandtrade. Should be a long and interesting day. lnkd.in/e3zSKbc

In a real show of unity the @AirResources board members all wore pink on the dais as Lisa Macumber made her way back (to support her staff presenting at the meeting) while she battles #breastcancer
