Help! Science people: what's the best way to convert a 3 channel red-green-blue TIFF file (of a microscope image) to a magenta-green-blue image?

Today in my cell bio class @wesleyan_u we are discussing intermediate filaments, which means we are discussing rhinos and pangolins, senselessly poached for their horns and scales which are composed mainly of keratin intermediate filaments.
You can imagine my anger when, on searching 'chemical composition of pangolin scales', finding a peer-reviewed publication on USING PANGOLIN SCALES to treat rheumatoid arthritis. Yes, you read that correctly: funded research into further uses of illegally poached pangolins. WTF?
Job Alert! We are searching for someone who will manage our core microscopy facility: careers.wesleyan.edu/posting…
This is a great job for someone who loves microscopy and wants a support/management/training staff role. Please RT. Employee benefits @wesleyan_u are excellent.
First day back after Spring Break @wesleyan_u and spring has definitely sprung.
This makes me so mad (the part where the zebra is shot, and the part where the zebra is in the US, not the part where some idiot gets bitten by a zebra). Please leave #African animals in Africa! bbc.co.uk/news/world-us-cana…
The word ‘drought’ has been engrained in my vocabulary for years, but not ‘pluvial’, until reading this paper. Reminds me that vocabulary can shape the way we think and understand things. nature.com/articles/s44221-0…
Happening upon this tweet is one of the reasons why I hope this twitter thing never implodes…
This paper has the most chaotic acknowledgement section I've ever read 🤣

Sobering. Awful.
Fourteen years ago today, Sheharbano (Sheri) Sangji died of her injuries sustained while running a reaction with tert-butyl lithium in the laboratory of Professor Patrick Harran at UCLA. RIP. #SheriSangji

Teaching colleagues, I need your opinion: if you were equipping a teaching lab with 24 microscopes for dissecting fly, fish, frog, mouse, plant tissues, and you were on a budget ... which microscopes would you buy?
People ... please RT ... @drjenmitchel from @CellMigration seminars fame (yes THE drjen!) is recruiting PhD students. Interested in #epithelial cell/tissue biology or #cellmigration? Apply!
Applying for Bio PhD programs? Don't overlook smaller institutions in favor of 'big name brands'. As a grad student @wesleyan_u you will be VALUED, have a VOICE, well COMPENSATED, and your GROWTH and SUCCESS will be prioritized. wesleyan.edu/bio/graduate/ov….
