I am the last person ever to receive a yellow card at Upton Park.
Played in a game the final day before demolition and got it giving away a penalty. The one remaining game that day passed without a card - so last ever name in the book at the old place was mine!

I get that when playing a possession based approach, it’s good to have a keeper who is competent with his feet.
But call me old fashioned……I prefer a goalie who can actually save a shot once in a while.

Ludo Miklosko will always be in my all-time Hammers XI.
There was a time in the 90s when he felt superhuman. That afternoon at Upton Park in 95 - when he repelled everything that excellent United team threw at him - was one of them.
A giant of a man, who leaves an enormous legacy in Claret & Blue.
Heartbroken.
Ludo was my absolute hero growing up. I wanted to be just like him.
Years later I got to meet him, share a few beers with him and put to bed the myth of ‘never meeting your hero’s’.
Rest in Peace. ⚒️😢
