In Islam, the rape victim is more likely to get killed than the rapist, and we all know it. This is because Islamic jurisprudence requires four men to witness the act of penetration; anything else is considered consensual, and the victim is usually murdered by her own family. I will also point out that under Islam, a man can rape his wife whenever he likes, and that Muslim men are also allowed to rape non-Muslim women. So no, Mia, Islam does not kill rapists. It enables them.

I’m not a Christian, but the distinction is that the crimes Christians commit are generally generic crimes that have little to do with Christianity, at least in our current social and political climate.
With Islam, however, we often see perpetrators explicitly invoking their religion to justify or sanctify their actions. They don’t miss the opportunity to shout “Allahu Akbar” while committing these atrocities or to frame their actions as a fulfilment of religious obligations.
This is a distinction you cannot pretend isn’t valid.
By the way, This victimhood some of you Muslims constantly retreat to whenever Islam is criticised for its clear violence and barbarism is getting old. … it’s already been exposed.

That's misleading. Just because you married someone you slept with on the first date doesn't mean you'd encourage your daughter to sleep with every man she goes on a first date with.
Casual sex was never inherently empowering. In many ways, it simply encouraged women to adopt the same sexual behaviors traditionally associated with men.

My coworker spent one year in Tennessee.
He came back to Tokyo two months ago.
He is not the same man.
He says "y'all" in meetings. To our boss.
He holds the door for the entire floor. Twelve people. Every morning.
He asked the convenience store clerk how her day was going. She had to sit down.
He calls every man "bud." Including the CEO.
He refuses to describe anything under three hours away as "far."
He waves at drivers who let him cross. One driver waved back and almost hit a pole.
Last week, he told a junior employee, "I'm proud of you."
She went to the restroom and cried for ten minutes.
We thought it would wear off.
It didn't. It's spreading.
Three people in accounting now say "y'all."
The junior employee holds the door.
The convenience store clerk asks HIM how his day is going.

There are no separate trans rights, women's rights, or disability rights. There are individual rights, and they belong equally to everyone.
The problem arises when people confuse rights with entitlements, demanding special privileges or benefits that require violating someone else's rights.
Equal rights mean equal protection under the law, not different rights depending on which group you belong to.
