Very sad to hear the passing of my old boss, Sheikh Ahmed bin Rashid Al Maktoum. He gave me my first job in Dubai @JebelAliRC . We had some great memories together, and it was an honour to ride in those famous yellow and black silks 💛🖤An Absolute Gentleman. May he rest in peace

An impressive debut by Curracloe in the 7f maiden for two-year-olds at @GowranPark1. The winner, a daughter of Baaeed who changed hands for 240,000gns as yearling, was "very fast" through the final two furlongs, signing off with splits of 10.94sec and 11.55sec. She looks exciting for @JohnnyMurtagh.

アラムシャー（IRE）の死亡について
静内種馬場で功労馬として繋養されていたアラムシャー（IRE）
（2000年生、父Key of Luck （USA）、母 Alaiyda （USA））が8月20日、老衰のため死亡しました。26歳でした。
アラムシャーは、アガ・カーン殿下の所有馬として現役時代に活躍し、2003年の愛ダービー（G1）、キングジョージVI世＆クイーンエリザベスS （G1）を制するなど、欧州のトップホースとして輝かしい競走成績を残しました。
現役引退後は日本軽種馬協会の種馬場で種牡馬として供用され、2017年の種付シーズン終了後に種牡馬を引退。その後は功労馬として静内種馬場で余生を送っていました。
JBBA stallion Alamshar (Key of Luck - Alaiyda) passed away due to the infirmities of old age on August 20 at the age of 26. The pensioned stallion was a resident of the JBBA's Shizunai Stallion station on the northern island of Hokkaido.
During his racing career, Alamshar proved himself a top-class racehorse, winning multiple G1 races including the Irish Derby and the King George VI & Queen Elizabeth Diamond S in His Highness the Aga Khan's colors.
Alamshar entered stud in Japan at the JBBA Shizunai Stallion Station in 2004. After standing at multiple locations in Japan with the JBBA, he was pensioned from stallion duties following the 2017 breeding season. As a stallion, he made his presence felt as a broodmare sire in Japan from a modest number of offspring.
